If Cameron was smart, he'd have questioned/pushed for an EU wide minimum wage.

This would have eliminated the concerns over economic migrancy from Eastern Europe whilst maintaining the benefits of being in the EU.

How do you expect the economies of the poorer eastern european state to support a national minimum wage?

Part of this problem stems from the fact you have very poor countries joining the EU.

Cameron is the single best force the exit campaigners could have hoped for.

What a clueless twit.

I don't think he's stupid at all. He's played a blinder.

The people who want to leave the EU won't be persuaded either way, so nothing he's doing is intended to get them on board. He's targeting the undecided and he's doing a good job of it.

He's somehow convinced the MSM to promote the idea that his negotiations will somehow alter mass immigration to the UK and restore our sovereignty, whereas in reality it's going to do nothing of the sort.

Cameron is not the most canny of PM's, but he knows how to play to the audience.

With who though, certainly not eachothers respective populations, it will be for the eurocrats masturbating eachother over such a good job they're doing.

This is my view on the EU, while I think that a large EU communion might benefit all countries one way or another the utter lunacy of internal and cross country politics ruins whatever plans are laid anyway.

I reckon the UK is stuck between a rock and a hard place, take independance and fall foul of EU taxes and lose out on the benefits, or stay in and take rewards of membership but at the same time give up some of our true independance via various forms of legislation.

It's a hard choice, poll should have 'unsure' as an option, as I had to pick yes purely for the financial incetives we have to remain, but I really dont want us to adopt quite a few of the EU rulings on stuff.

He's not clueless at all. Like him or loathe him (I'm firmly in the latter camp) he knows how to get the result he wants from elections and people who want the UK to be in control of their own laws should be very worried by him.

So what I can see if that he's asked for cancellation on benefits for non-tax paying foreign people for 4 years and a cancellation of the sending benefits home e.g. child benefit.

It's an emergency brake we have always had the chance to use although it requires most nations to agree to allow it and now we look likely to leave the EU it has suddenly been approved for 4 years... funny that? BUT after 6 months they could cancel it so it means absolutely nothing and is just a trick of illusion to get us to look elsewhere.

And with regards to sending benefits home instead of keeping them in the country to be spent in the country contributing to the economy it is not allowed....

Do I have that right?

I'm all for immigration - in the right way and for the right people we need to make out country a better nation. :)

Cameron is such a liar. If the deal wasn't right, he'd campaign for us to leave. Orly?

If he had any credibility he'd announce his support for leave instead of trying desperately to hoodwink the pubic in to believing his demands have been met when they clearly haven't.

So do i, which may surprise some people here, but while we're in the EU we're having unchecked and mass immigration. We need to leave so we have full control of our own shores and we can pick only the best from around the world to come here. I want a points system

We cannot do any of this while still in the EU. And to think that a waterdown result were we can't actually do any of it without the agreement from other countries, and for Cameron to think this is great progress is frankly a ****ing insult to the UK. And it shows how little Cameron thinks of the UK

Lets make our country great again, lets control our own future.
