You'd think Netflix would have picked this up rather than Amazon.

Either way is good, hopefully they'll film it in HDR, it would look amazing.

That's what I expected before Amazon became the favourite to pick it up, but once you realise Bezos is a big fan, it makes sense. Netflix might have picked it up had Amazon not been interested. Easier to pick to a show if no one else wants it.

Apparently Bezos was annoyed that it went to Syfy first time around. Netflix may have plenty of cash, but they would probably have had to enter a bidding war if they were serious about it. They've got plenty of good shows as it is and maybe thought it wouldn't be a wise move to try outbid Bezos. :D

That makes sense, must be nice to be so wealthy you can save you're favourite TV show when it gets cancelled. :D
