The Fashion Thread... personal tastes, musings, and recommendations

Anyone that says boot cut over straight cut doesn't have a clue, as does the person who says wearing jeans with shoes is wrong.

It's an interesting topic but fashion is so varied to the individual that there is no definitive "look".

Jeans - almost always Boss Orange but do have some Paul Smith Red Ear
Why Boss Orange? Are you able to see the value in the prices they charge for the denim? I am not a jean cheapskate and I like BOSS, but I think their denim prices are OTT.

Shirts - Paul Smith, Paul and Shark, Boss, Kenneth Cole
You could get shirts tailored for less than the cost of Paul Smith shirts!

The rest I approve! You're quite the highstreet label whore, though :D

Although i might be considered bias as i work for them, i simply can't recommend ASOS.com enough. They have hundreds of brands with prices ranging from £20 for a pair of jeans right up to Filson and Pendleton jackets costing £500 or so. It's always worth looking at the Outlet section and seeing what's on special offer. Also they update their Facebook pages at least once a week with constant promotions and special offers.

Could you get us one of those SORRYUK... £10 off £11 min spend codes plox! :p

Seriously, any ideas if they are going to reduce the price of Jeans further in this sale. (cheapskate)

I'm 28 and jeans, trainers and a hoody is my usual attire. I must be a rude bwoy!

I will always dress to the occassion to be honest, I don't feel the need to dress smartly every day!?

My jeans all come from either Next or River Island, fashion brands never fit me properly. I do really like shirts from Hawes and Curtis though.

This is what Topman recommend as their "latest trend". Are you suggesting that we deviate from this?
