The first "proper" Kepler news Fri 17th Feb?

This TBH :p

What's the point of having 4 screen support? Surely just sticking to 3 would be enough?

Also, if you do have 4 screens, surely you need more than the 2GB VRAM suspected?

Yeah, like you didn't get 90% of your posts in GD :p

And yeah, 3 would be fine, 4 is just a nice bonus xD and yeah you'd probably need the 4gb version if there will be one...

There will probably be a 4GB version, just like there is a 1.5GB and 3GB 580.

yes, but i'm saying that it should really come with 4GB (3 atleast) if it's supposed to be an enthusiast card capable of 3 screens.

Why photoshop stuff when you can just edit the html files

Not a bad guess at scores

Whilst I agree... 6 months ago people were using 6970s for three screens... No 4gb of VRAM there....

It's not necessary, just, pretty much excluding about 15-20 games you could probably get decent frame rates on eyefinity/surround with 2gb

And why did you run heaven using default settings.

Because then when you compare it to other scores you get a better idea. Once you start fiddling with the settings you change it, so scores can not be compared as the settings are different.

That's why 3Dmark has a P mode and X mode. Because you can then compare them to other P scores and X scores.

But the guy with the GTX680 is using different settings...

Thats the reason we're running these benchmarks to figure out and compare them to the GTX680. :p

Yes but your Heaven bench has Tessellation disabled which is a pointless comparison.
