It was good from day one IIRC !!!!

The difference between me and a review site is I always use max settings @2160p which tests the GPUs and not the CPU.

The problem with doing this with GTX 980 Ti's is the game uses over 8gb maxed out.

Would be good to see I that is just a bf4 issue

His clockspeed v performance figures looks like he has got something wrong unless the card is throttling due to heat.

It will be interesting when I try it with custom waterblocks on mine.

Techreport is the best in this regard but their modus operandi of testing the 99th percentile FPS is not massively popular among the AMD diehards either.

In flagrante using terms and language that simple people like me find difficult to follow. Perhaps we can keep it in English.

Can't somebody start a different thread for the bashing and defending of the Fury X as this one is for the owners. Quite shocking from both AMD and Nvidia fanboys.

the insults and personal,attacks constantly dont get a ban.
they simply ar so bad at their jobs here so go hire guys or ladies who knows their stuff.

I find mostly kids here and the bad attitude is by far the worst second only to Hardocp out there. thats saying something.

gonna go and drink some coffee now enjoying my amd hardware which btw is the best out there.

People should be grateful I am not a Mod, I don't see the point of separate AMD and NVidia forums but I do like very long suspensions.

I think that maybe the forum should be split into two or 3 sub forums, AMD Nvidia and general and the fanboys who don't play well with others banned from the relative sections. I think that was a great idea, I feel sorry for the mods that have to come along and delete all this crap but I hope they do, this message included because parts of this thread are just vast wastelands.

Waste of time, people will still find things to argue about.

The best way to deal with any problem posters is to suspend or ban them for a very long time, a minimum of 12 months should do the trick.

Ive had a good look inside the box, just in case it was just inside somewhere, but nope

Phone the retailer but give it a test anyway, the card may be a good clocker.

One of mine will do Firestrike with no extra volts @1150/500.

Greg, I did not mean to be mean with my comment, just a bit teasing
I do not have any problems with benchmarks, but I do have problems with Unigine ones, since those are absolutely useless to check on AMD performance capabilities

and hwbot uses several types of superPI alternatives which are basically superpi clones, so hwbot using heaven as a benchmark does not mean that that benchmark is representative of anything

HWBot don't use Heaven 4 as it takes away a lot of the advantage LN2 benchers get with older less demanding versions.

When Heaven 4 there is more emphasis on GPU grunt rather than CPU clockspeed.

Going to be mounting my EK block on it, but seems a shame to remove the awesome stock cooler.

Wtf, superflower 1600w PSU wants me to connect two separate cords from PSU to VGA, since it does not have 2x8pin cable, only 1x8pin, 1x6pin cords. How come seasonic 1250w PSU manages to provide single cord with 2x8pin connectors. So now in order to power my 2 Fury x I have to run 4 separate cords instead of 2. And when I'll get 3rd Fury x I'll have to run 6 cords altogether.

And I will be using 8 cords.

Having said that I prefer using 2 separate leads for each card as it is safer and less stressful on the PSUs.

Not going to happen on two gpu's bud, it's why 4GB is sufficient for 4K, even with two gpu's. To use more than 4GB consistently you'll need three or more gpu's at 4K.

That said i tune my settings to keep certain FPS ranges so I'm always in the (FreeSync) range.

I am expecting good things when I get my Fury Xs on water but have been a little bit held up today.

My bother left his laptop at my place to be fixed while I was asleep today so I have been working on that. Has anyone tried running windows update on an 8 year old laptop after a vista reinstall, I have nearly finished a bottle of Bacardi waiting to finish the job.
