An update to the Batman: Arkham Knight SLI profile was deployed
via GeForce Experience before the game's launch. To acquire the update,
open GeForce Experience, navigate to the Preferences tab, click
"General" on the left nav, and click "Check for updates". The updated
profile will automatically be downloaded and installed, ready for use
in-game."

TL : DR - Download an updated SLI profile via Geforce Experience.

Lots of people have tried them, I guess you didn't read the known issues part as well:

 [SLI, Batman: Arkham Knights] With a 4K display, a TDR occurs after the in-game
resolution is toggled and the application is exited. [200116725]
 [SLI, Batman: Arkham Knights] Heavy flickering occurs in game after Alt+Tab if SLI is
enabled. [200116723]
 [SLI, Batman: Arkham Knights] Severe stuttering seen, especially in indoor scenes,
when the game is running at 4K resolution and NVIDIA Gameworks settings are
turned on. [200116722]
 [SLI, Batman: Arkham Knights] Random flickering occurs in the game if SLI is
enabled. [200116717]
 [GM206, SLI, Batman: Arkham Knights] Stuttering occurs and performance drops
after shadow quality settings are toggled. [200116694]
 [GK180, SLI, Batman: Arkham Knights] When SLI is enabled, a crash points to ntdll.dll shortly after the game is exited. [200116717]

I'd rather just try it myself. And if there's an issue, I imagine it'll be fixed sharply.

Unlike for AMD, where they are waiting for fixed Crossfire profiles for 6 months.

Hopefully that fixes it but shouldn't need geforce experience to solve it, I find it an awful piece of software, especially the streamer service it uses.

The difference with AMD's issues were it was outside of their control, if you're talking about Far Cry 4. All other releases of late have had drivers/profiles on launch or soon after.

I just don't understand why people defend nVidia drivers, they clearly have their own issues and defending them isn't going to make it better.

Geforce Experience as got stuck on my system trying to download the new drivers.

The drop down menus have finally come back on IE/Chrome for the 353.30 drivers and you can now download them.

I'm defending them as I had AMD cards for 2 years, then a Titan for a year, then AMD cards for 18 months plus and now on my second set of Nvidia cards since Feb this year, so I have a fair experience of both colours and both drivers.

Games are just so much smoother on Nvidia hardware IMO.

I went from a 295x2 to a TX and none of the games I played had any issues with crossfire. I just feel like it gets blown way out of proportion that nVidia are leagues ahead in the driver department because they rush out drivers on every release even when they know things are still broken.

To you guys waiting for the hybrid cooler, I emailed Evga to ask for timeframe for stock.
Here is their reply.

Hello Nick,

I am afraid at the moment we do not have a delivery day for that item so I think this is at least going to take weeks if not a month or two. Generally we do allow to also install cooling solutions from third party companys too. NZXT and others do offer equal cooling solutions.

Regards,

I ordered one on an off chance yesterday and it should be here today :)

But I have now had a change of mind and can't be bothered to fit it

So I will probably list it in MM for what I paid for it.

I'm a single card user and so are the majority so I can't understand why there's a massive consensus that nVidia have better drivers, they release SLI profiles more regularly but the Batman ones are broken...

Nvidia's drivers have been pretty shocking recently and they released an update for their shield tablet that burned out the speakers so I'm feeling a bit fed up with them at the moment.

From my experience AMD's single GPU drivers are very good, my only problems were the uninstaller left files on the PC which should have been removed. So when I tried to downgrade to a previous driver with this method I had a red screen on reboot and had to install the driver almost blind (this was with an HD6970 and 4 years ago, so probably improved).

Also, multi-gpu support was not nearly as good as nvidia's (AMD 4870X2 vs GTX690, different generations so not sure if still relevant). On various forums, people reported a bug with a giant mouse cursor(didn't experience this myself) that kept coming back.

Other than the above, the drivers were very stable (certain Nvidia drivers have been quite unstable on a reference GTX 690 at stock) and I had good performance in games.

To get on the Roll of Honour all you have to do is post a pic with your user name on it of your TitanX.

It's just a cooler to go on his EVGA SC, keep your knickers on chaps. :)

BTW Batman benchmark 3440x1400 was like 60 fps average or something, between 70 and 100% usage on both cards.

Got cut short as had to help my mum with her computer, now doing dinner before heading out to the gym so may not get time till later on or Thursday for a proper play.
