I have a 140mm case fan in my drive bay to blow cool air over the card with the backplate fitted.

EXACTLY how thin are they? My CPU cooler comes VERY close to the GPU. Would it matter if they touched?

Just measured. 3mm including the pads. You might get vibration if touching.

I'm seriously calculating my next payday for another Titan X for SLI... The ole triple slot Inno3D ichill 780's did take up a load of room in the case and looked sweet... Think I need another TX for reasons of aesthetics at the very least lol!

I posted this in the Nvidia drivers thread but worth repeating

I know it's a hotfix and shouldn't do anything else other than cure the issues it mentions in the notes, but I just played Arkham Knight with the 353.49 hotfix driver installed (Win 10 Tech Preview 10162) and it had more consistently higher FPS at 4k using Titan X + Titan X as dedicated Physx (V-sync off)

Temps were even lower as well?!

Previously I was using the 353.30 Game Ready driver.

The GPU fan is 4 pin pwm and needs a converter to make it standard. The 2 pin connector is for the LEDs.

Fitted my back plate yesterday and before hand I was getting 33c idle with the fan @ 2018 rpm after I was getting 32 idle with the fan @ 1684 rpm im well happy with it

No its not mate. The gpu fan is 3 pin and theres no adapter needed. Im sat looking at it now. It plugs straight into the SP120 3 pin I bought

Same here mate,placed my order when it was green and once competed I checked 30mins later and it was out of stock,so I emailed them only to be told I didn't get one so now I have to wait for a refund to go through.
