Sat in the comfy chair drinking coffee overlooking the garden and telling myself good job on the lawn last night. Really should switch the laptop on.

Pretty much the same, except I'm thinking my wife did a pretty good job with the mowing.

Heading out to the US tomorrow for two and a bit weeks of R&R. I’ve not had this long off work (outside illness) in over 5 years and totally cleared the desk before I left so feel able to switch off!

Also, I managed to bag the new Virgin A330-900neo Retreat Suite’s for the girlfriend and I. Got 27 inch telly, 6.5 foot beds and purple salt and pepper pots!!

NYC, Boston and Cape Cod. Lots of stuff planned but lots of relaxing and not working.

As I live in the future I can confirm that 10.10am on 11th August is a damn good day to be alive. Blue skies, a bit of sunshine on the ride into work this morning, and it is Friday my dudes. Oh yeah.

It's Friday, and the kids had a sleepover last night, so didn't get up until 8.15.

The sun is shinining on an emerald green valley after a few days of summer showers.

Bjj class tonight, and late night beer and gaming session to follow.

Contentment is good.

Well I am working today which I did not plan to do
But I decided to take next week off and the weather is okish by the looks of things
So will be at the allotment leaning on a spade chatting for a fair few hours next week
