The Intel Quadcore Database

happy new year to you as well :)

nope not been back to my parent house yet will tomorrow... got that new CPU to 3.6 with little problem before I left... will try and get my hands on the rig to fiddle with! but the little brother is very happy playing his games atm! have quite a nice build log of it to post as well :)

Just to give you guys an update. It looks like I am gonna be without my PC for a while longer as I have decided on a total rebuild but sadly stocks of certain items are non existant atm. So I'm in the process of making a new database from the latop I have for the mean time.

Nice Graph pneumonic. Mind if I put the pic on the front page for everyones reference?

hehe.. basically the Red _ _ _ line shows the vcore you need for a certain clockspeed assumming your VID is 1.27... so if your VID is lower then you probably need slightly less and higher slightly more..

people should keep in mind however that this is a "ruff" guide some of the vcore figures for certain clocks are taken from small samples so this should be used as a starting point and then people should adjust as they need to

I have updated the Vcore vs Clockspeed graph with a couple of entries that I missed first time through and booyaka clock, have included a date in the title so that people can see when it was last updated... will try and keep this updated with all the new clocks maybe once a week or so... webbo will post in here when the image is updated so if you want to link it to the front page you will have the most upto date one!

really? Id recommend keeping under 70c on air cooling
wife had the heating on all day!! normally around 60 or so is more normal.

Currently folding on all four cores max'd out and max temp is 58.

Motherboard is super hard to get accurate ram and vcore as the vcore in the bios was 1.5, windows it's 1.456v and underload 1.392v!!!!

Ram is +0.4v for the ballstixs in the bios but only shows as 1.968 in everest and speedfan!

Happy at the moment with that but will give it a push next time the notion takes me!:p:p

That is a nice OC Servo and temps are extremely good, OC head room is still available
Congrats

I think there's more in the cpu, but I'm more than happy with this result. It's not bad for a matx setup with 4 gig of ram. The ram is only on 1.9v, I do rate these sticks. (Geil Black dragon 2 x 2 gig) Next step is playing with the timings. I might put the crucial back in though, they do have good timings.
