Thats because during the update it needs to verfiy it with apple, the servers are that busy half get rejected.

What **** at Apple thought that releasing the Lion update and the Lion Recovery update (totalling 888MB) on the same day as iOS 5 was a good idea?

You guys not read up on things before you try them?

iMessage is integrated into Message.. If the person your sending a text to is on an iPhone or iPad it'll be sent as a free message listed blue.

theres no separate app for it.

The first 500MB of the iOS download went quick, the last 275 is taking aages! For the past 2 hrs it's been saying "30 minutes remaining"...

Settings > Messages > Receive At (Click) > Enter your Apple ID.

This will mean people can iMessage you through your email address (I think).. and not a number!
