*** The iPad Air thread ***

I'll chuck in my few cents that my iPad Air had a yellow tint on the left half of the screen in portrait mode, I returned it to Tesco today expressing that their demo model was better which it was but still had a faint dark band on the far left but overall far less yellow.

My local Curry's one was very similar to mine truth to be said.
 
I've just ordered a iPad Air earlier on. First tablet. And hopefully it's very good one. Screen protectors and case ordered.

Can't wait :D
 
Well picked up my iPad Air + Smart Case the other day and as a first tablet I couldn't be more pleased.

I went with the 32GB White/Silver version in the end purely because it was still cheaper than the 16GB over in the UK and something told me I would probably need the extra space at some point.

Although I haven't got all my apps and everything installed on it yet the speed and feel of it is so much more refreshing compared to my aging iPhone 4.

I suspect my laptop will now probably not get used any more for just randomly browsing the internet and things like that at home anymore.

Can someone confirm to me, i'm looking at buying an iPad later on, and since the Air is the latest out that's what i'm after, but now i'm being told by friends don't bother as there's a new one out next week??

All the information I found is about the Ipad Mini and nothing else.

Someone clarify as I would like to get a White 16gb Air later on.

Out of interest, they say the WIFI has improved its range and speed, anyone find this to be true, I'm interested to know as if any of you are with SKY and have/had their awful Sagem Routers, then you'll know this would be awesome for me.

Received my iPad Air today morning. Loving it:D using it right now for this post lol.

Now need to wait for my case and screen protectors to be delivered. Ordered them yesterday. Hopefully I'll get them both tomorrow morning.

Screen on this iPad is amazing :eek:
 
Just bought an iPad air, good price in the states. Upgrading from an older nexus7. Always been on android so will take a little getting used to. So far though, great speed and awesome screen.
 
Are these more powerful than the ipad4? Want to get my girlfriend one for Christmas, apparently a lot of teachers use them and she graduates as one in may seemed like a good idea. Just there are so many types I have no idea what to get. I assume the mini is just a rubbish version of an I pad?

okay did some googling and apparently the new mini is basically same as an air but smaller, whats the point? Surely you may aswell have a phone if you want a small tablet? But then my g/f might like having a smaller ipad...jesus i cant surprise her if i ask her pref, this is annoying :|

This is on play.com now advertised on their front page. Fantastic deal for a brand new iPad. Very rare to see any discounts on these!
 
So tempted by play offer for my g/f but not sure if she might need 3g if taking to school etc. Do schools have wifi these days? Been a while since i was at school lol.
