*** The iPhone 3G S Thread - All iPhone 3G S Related Stuff In Here ***

Depends on a case-case basis.

Some have cutouts that only allow a USB lead, others have a flip up or removable lower 6th that allow the iPhone to sit in a dock.

Unless you're getting an invisible skin I'd assume they won't work in the iPhone dock :)

Decided to upgrade after seeing the sample photos and videos floating around the web. Took out an additional contract and got a 32GB black one. Gave the mrs the new contract and the old phone and swapped sims :)

 ;)

First impressions; OS is way faster and the camera's better than my 3G.

Am I imagining (wishing!) it or is the speaker a little bit louder?

Mine seems louder compared to the 2G. It has metal grates on the speakers too which is different. I want my old metal power button and rockers back though. They were easier to find using just my finger.

i got my white 32gb woohoo !!!!

jason from gadgetshow was at the o2 shop (opposite bond street station) when i picked mine up !!! he was buying the new phone as well... they also had a tv crew doing interviews with people....

I'm not convinced by MobileMe - The push for e-mails would be useful but from what I can gather, it only pushes MobileMe addresses.

Can anyone confirm this? I know I could set up a forward but it seems a bit of a long work-around.

I dont think that would be right to be honest... I dont see why it would only do mobile me addresses...

Can someone point me to the best available non-intrusive skins and screen protectors please. Thin, light, durable and not fugly is all I'm looking for.

Bodyguardz skins as you get two skins per pack, but I'm not sure about UK retailers. Failing that I belive CPW do InvisibleShields, which are the same stuff but a bit thicker. Both these products are screen and rear phone protectors and very strong. Applying the thing to the back of a 3G or 3Gs is a major PITA though.
