mine came today and loving it so far, my only issue is the warm filter it seems to have (like a yellow tinge) on the screen... anyway to switch this off?

Not as far as I know, they introduced that with the 3G. I didn't even notice it until I compared an iPhone to an iPod Touch but I don't really notice it now.

Iphone soft case
Hey guys.
Ordered my new Iphone on saturday, so should be getting hold of it on Wednesday, so I thought I should get hold of a case for it.
I like the Iphone as it is, and I have the 02 insurance on it, so im not too fussed about a hard cover for it. However, I do quite fancy just a simple soft case to slide it into when its in my pocket and stuff just to avoid the light annoying scratches.
Found a few online, but just thought Id see what guys have gone with, if at all? And what you seem to think of them?

I find the colour and contrast better on the 3gs lol.
I've still got the 3g and compared them side-by-side.
On my 3g it has an unnatural tinge to it.
If the 3gs has a tinge to it I can't tell.
Really... Well the 3GS I saw in apple store meadowhall was no way as good as my 3G screen I found it not bold enough on contrast and also a blue tint too.
Ah well I aint too sure what to do yet

It will only sync a set amount of e-mails. Default is 50 but can be changed as necessary
Previous e-mails can be accessed and searched through as required.Battery life seems to be going well. First charge only lasted about 17 hours but this second charge is much better (see photos). I had wifi turned off and only used when needed and as I'm waiting on my number been transferred I didn't make any calls or texts. However, I did check e-mails and browse the internet occasionally. Rather impressed

My last contract phone fell out of my pocket in a black cab after 3 months on an 18 month contract. **** happens.

How long did you get? Mine has had 3 hrs 23 mins of usage since last charge and 1 day 12 hrs on standby and its at 27%
Usage has been pretty much totally internet and games with a few text and a ten min call.
I have only been through one full charge and discharge cycle though
Not sure if I have a duff battery or not

You've not had it long enough yet, give it a good full 12-16 hour charge cycle.

Anyone getting any issues with reception? I've just gone from a original iphone to a 3GS and when 3G is turned on I get "no service" in the middle of the square mile (literally next door to the Gherkin)....?!?!
If I switch 3G off, I get almost full reception in the same place so something is not right surely!

May not be an answer to your query but could try the following to sort any "3g" issues. Ive had mine since Friday and didn’t use it properly till today due porting number over issue. I noticed that 3g was not coming up and rang o2, who advised me to do the following:
Settings>> General >> Reset >> Reset Network Settings.
The iphone reboots and fixed my problem, obviously use with caution and all the other liability limitation stuff...
Hope it helps
