*** The iPhone 3G S Thread - All iPhone 3G S Related Stuff In Here ***

Aww unlucky mate - shame you have to be without - just make sure you get your contract money back whatever happens...

I intend to, and was arguing the fact, however she seems to think that because I've got my SIM back and that I'll probably be able to get a lend phone that it's completely irrelevant that I haven't got my iPhone because o2 don't make any money on them and she also rambled on how the T&C's in my contract states if my phone breaks their give me a lender phone so I don't think I've got much hope tbh.

I've worked out that my odd issue with contacts auto adding from mail to my contact list occurs when I move my mail between folders. I.e. If I move an enquiry from [email protected] from my inbox to my customer folder, [email protected] auto add's to my contact list! How bizarre!

Email access is imap.
Contacts sync with a google mail acc. Via exchange setup.
Calendar syncs with google via caldev.

Any ideas? I'm stumped!

Just picked up a second hand 3G S on the cheap (it's fab). I'm currently on O2 with an unlimited data plan for £20 p/m. Just to confirm; the only things I'll be missing with my current SIM/tarfiff are internet tethering and visual voice mail? I could live without them, I think...

I'm just wondering whether it's worth calling O2 and arranging the iPhone bolt-on thingy.

Do you guys find the Iphone to be poor at picking up a signal?

I live outside of 3g coverage (stops about 100m away) and my old Nokia would give me a decent 3 bar signal at all times. The Iphone picks up zero signal.

If I cant find a way to improve things I may as well get rid. :(

Quick question, if i get the 3gs (it would be on the £35 a month for 24months) and the 4th gen comes out, how do i go about upgrading to it?

Also can i keep my same # on 02? (currently with 02)

I have my screen at around 30% which makes it last much longer i also have 3G and Wifi off.

btw.. I'm going to get the Griffin Reveal Case as it has some good reviews, what I like is that its ultra thin and you will hardly notice it on the iphone as it has a clear back also the lay on table design is a plus.

Some Pics I found

Whats that calendar you have in the first pic?

That will be expensive :p

Ah sod it, might as well get one, its only going to cost me £814 over 18months  lol

edit: aww

just tried to get the iphone 3gs white £35 a month 18months but they are still out of stock

:(

Do you mean Invisibleshield? I wanted a case with lay on table design and drop protection. I was given a Speck Candyshell as a gift which has those features I wanted and its a nice case, however I'm never satisfied so I'm looking into the Easyswitch CapsuleNeo because it looks nice and has a executive look to it.

invisiableshield is very exspensive, order 2 of these like i did at this price, arrived in 4 days or so and i think its better, the invisishield goes yellowy in colour after a few weeks so i took it off and put this one on and looks great, also bought the griffin rebel case too!

Agreed - though I couldnt find a UK supplier for BSE and ended up deciding a hard case was a better idea matched with a PowerSupport Anti-Glare screen protector. The InvisibleShield screen protector is pretty crap compared to that or the BSE one (pretty sure they are the same) and its a dog to apply...

ps3ud0

Any problem putting the condom on the phone, I hear its a pain as it rips easily and also putting the H Backing would stretch/move it. Also does it cover up the bezel?
