Light bleed on the left edge of a 3G iPhone by the looks of things.

Now i'm guessing.. perhaps.. that my battery guage isn't working. Either that or i have one hell of a battery
Hmmm, interesting. See how long it lasts before it dies.
Second iPhone 3G.. second problem
2) Light leaking from left side of the screen (roughly adjacent to volume rocker switch).
Getting my THIRD tomorrow.
I urge those with the light leaking issue to report it so it can be recognised as a fault.
- Pick up phone to head height
- Activate screen / turn on phone
- Tilt phone at 40-45 degrees
- Look at the edge of the screen (left side)
If you can see the light, get a replacement (or a refund)
Rubbish! I have this too. I was lying in bed playing surfin' web and it was as clear as day. It was almost as if the left hand side of the unit hadn't been sealed properlly!
Let me know if they replace yours. If they do, I think I'll head over to the trafford centre tonight and get it sorted!
