Yeah they may be able to provide some more info as you say but like you I won't be holding my breath!
 
I've phoned o2 upgrades, they too said they can't help over the phone and their engineers are on to the website situation. :mad:
 
In store doesn't do upgrade or new buys. Asked this morning. CPW still said Friday.

Rang O2 and they said their site was having maintenance done to it, and it should be back up and running properly later.
 
I think the website has crashed. All you get now is the telephone number but that does not allow you to order

Never been an 02 customer and I didn't get the bit about 'referred for assessment' at the end. That said, I have an awful credit rating so they may just be throwing it about randomly.

Edit: Anyone's order status gone past the 'In Progress' stage?

This is for existing iPhone customers only. My mum rang o2 earlier and thats what they said anyway.

Nope, I've got an email from them saying I can pre-order as a new customer from today as well.

I'm still going to the shop on Friday as I'll be at work whenever they send their courier round.
 
I have to say that this is a total joke for the hype behind its release.
How can you not be properly prepared for something like this. Daft thing is that a lot of people will be at work so its not like its the full market of iphone customers.

Also I think I am going to pass on the upgrade if the white option isn't an option. I am convinced the back of the black iphone will look disgusting within weeks of general use.
