*** The iPhone 3G Thread ***

Just calling around a few shops to see which they have in stock. First store I called has 2x 16gb and 9x8gb...it's a bit of a let down to be honest. They knew what the demand was like for the first version so why haven't they bumped it up for this one?

We are being punished by Apple if reports are to be believed, for the amount of original iPhones purchesd but not activated.
 
Just ordered mine for pick up tomorrow.

Pity it's through CPW, rather than proper O2. I'm going to walk past the O2 store in the morning and if it's not busy and they have stock I'll pick one up there and cancel my CPW one.

grrrrr still on hold since you posted that... and i can't place the order on the cpw site cuz it says my goddamn credit card details aren't right!!!!!!!!!

why oh why didn't apple just make more of the buggers :(
 
finally spoke to someone... apparently the orders wont go through online (hense the credit card problem) becuase they have just been told orders have to be placed earliest tomorrow...

they said the best way to get one is ring up at 8:30 and they'll get it posted for saturday...

are most people just going to town to queue?
 
Always have wanted an Apple Iphone but the monthly contract prices seem terrible. Although I am aware you get unlimited internet minutes but £35 seems a lot for 500 texts, 600 minutes!

Whats the best deal that can be had, interest me please :)

I currently use an 02 genie card, i assume that would work in a pay n' go one?
 
LOL - geunienly can't believe this has just happened...

I was sat on the toilet...as you do...browsing the web on my phone (this thread actually) when somehow I managed to fumble my phone and I've just dropped it down the toilet! I just stared between my legs at it (the phone!) bobbing around like :eek:.

Got some rubber gloves and fished it out so I'm gonna see if I can dry it out...good job I am getting an iphone tomorrow!

i once lost my front tooth (as a kid), i got 50pence as a reward... I then needed to wee out of excitement and dropped it down the toilet. I forced my dad to get it out before I flushed my wee away. Yes, that's right... I made him get it out of the wee water.
