MMS + iPhone

I've seen many comments about the lack of MMS on the iPhone which is something which is almost putting me off buying one

however, if you receive an MMS message do you just get a web link or something to the picture, if you do then I could live with that

Yeah, you get a link to view the image.

You can't send MMS however.

For what its worth zibri was a member of the iphone dev team before they kicked him out for leaking info which allowed apple to patch the bug. http://blog.iphone-dev.org/ is where its at :-)

Slightly confused here as to whether old I should be transferring my sim card from my old iphone to the new one or not. The guys in the o2 shop gave me a new sim and said it would be activated with the new sim but now I am not sure, lots of people seem to be just using their old iphone sim...

maybe the activation is just taking ages, this is what I am imagining is happening.

All upgrading O2 customers can start using their iPhone 3G straightaway by transfering their existing sim into the new device using the sim ejection tool in the box and syncing with iTunes.

You can install swirlyMMS which lets you send and receive (once the 2.0 jailbreak comes out)

Iphone payg pricing

Does anyone here know how much the iphone will be on payg when it comes out? I hope someone works for o2 or knows in what range it will be?

Are there any email to mms gateways about? Not really taken the time to check.

For example, could you send an email to <mobile_number>@mmsgateway.o2.com and have it rip the image out and send an mms to <mobile_number>.

Surely this must exist somewhere.

can someone please tell me how you use the EQ on the iphone for the sound, it was in the manual of the V1 but i can't see it on the V2 manual ?

i expected in that ipod settings section for there to be an option to group compilations... sadly there isn't

not on my iphone i have many many more artists than i really have cuz its picking out all the individual somes from comp albums

any way around this? i can't believe its like that as default!
