Ordered a 128GB in black, due to be delivered 20th-22nd.

Shame as when I went to order first thing on Friday I think I could have had it already, then I procrastinated and in the afternoon the delivery date went way up.

As much as I like the idea of the 7 plus, I just can't get over the bulk. Once you add a case I can't see that it would actually fit in my pocket comfortably!

You wouldn't have got it no matter when you ordered, no black or jet black plus models will be in anyone's hands tomorrow if they ordered via the Apple site, pretty sure you couldn't reserve any either

Everyone seems to be the 20-22nd if you got in early

No thats not right, friend of mine has one still showing delivery tomorrow AFAIK (he'd be going mental if not lol).You just had to be VERY quick.

Just a heads up for everyone who has ordered for collect in store tomorrow...my payment is now pending on Credit Card so it appears the wheels are very much in motion now

Also taken delivery of my Leather Case, superb stuff...now I just need the phone

According to MacRumours, 9to5Mac and AppleInsider, no-one is getting a black or jet black plus tomorrow. Did he order the standard 7?

Earliest seems to be 20-22nd September which is what mine is, and I got my confirmation pretty much as the store opened it was that quick

I think the rumours on those sites are about day one stock if you didn't pre-order. No apple stores will have any stock of 7+ and Jet black 7 for walk in customers

EE have however apparently said no Jet Black plus models on day one apparently although their CS is useless
All they can tell me is that I will get a text the day before. Who knows when!

No it's definitely about the apple online orders, but anyway I could be wrong, just saying I'd be surprised if he did get one tomorrow

at 3.17! My god that's bad. Wouldn't touch that version.

It's farcical. Everything marks to some degree and will never stay pristine but this finish literally marks just from keeping it in your pocket by the looks of it.

Total form over function and what happens when you give the designer (Ive) free reign. Design is all very well but it has to be tempered with reality. Something that looks lovely but doesn't survive routine usage is a joke.

I will wait to see what the battery life is like before I place an order, my 6S plus has been good on battery so far.

I was about to ask what are the chances of me rocking up to my local Apple store on Saturday and buying a a 256Gb or 128Gb 7 + in Black

I've just looked on the Apple UK store and all the 7+ phones are either showing delivery in 2 - 3 weeks or November for the Jet Black phone I think I should have decided to order earlier, oh well thats a lesson learnt.

Yup I've got the same even ordering at about 8:20AM last Friday. I'm going to try to order from John Lewis tomorrow, apple haven't taken any money from me yet.

Yep, this is the only communication I have had since pre-ordering on launch day. Its absolutely shocking.
