Does anyone know how soon they deliver after it changes to preparing for dispatch?

My delivery date initially said 26th Sept to 3rd Oct, but I go on holiday on the 29th so I've been hoping it arrives before then.

Mine changed to preparing to dispatch yesterday afternoon some time, it's just changed to dispatched within the past hour and showing an estimated delivery date of 23 September with UPS - shipping from China.

Thanks, maybe mine will be dispatched tomorrow then, hopefully for delivery early next week.

My case arrived today, well one of them, I also ordered one from Spigen but no sign of it yet.

It's just a shame certain individuals can never have a rational discussion about the pros and cons of different devices. I'm fast coming to the conclusion this forum or at least this particular thread and certain of the contributors are now actually worse than the MR site, if that is actually possible.

Most people in this thread want an iPhone for reasons of iOS and ecosystem so the pros and cons of Samsung and other android phones are irrelevant!

Can we stop the bickering? If you want to discuss the pros and cons of the iPhone 7 vs Samsung phones then that is fine, but the constant back and forth is resulting in childish bickering which is getting tedious now.

My black 7+ 256gb just got delivered from Apple. Love the colour - very cool! And also really liking the new home button. Having a play with the cameras now ... :-)

How much would that realistically save me though if any?
When you take into consideration the price of apple care to get the upgrade next year? and then the price of the sim only per month

I guess it depends what it is your after.

Usually I buy outright but this time I'm going for the upgrade plan (mostly because I'm a bit sceptical about the rumoured update next year) as it's interest free so i'm not paying any more than I would've.

Sim only deals seem to have gotten worse over the last few years. Sticking with 3 (£20 200 minutes, 5000 texts and Unlimited 4G data) as they offer the feel at home stuff.

But does it work out much cheaper than a traditional 24 month contract? You'd have to do a like-for-like comparison for yourself.

Still works out more expensive though as your suckered in having to buy apple care.
