Samsung evidently threw everything at the Note and look where that's got them.

Well to a non partisan observer they have produced a very good phone indeed, certainly equal to the iPhone.

That's a non partisan observer of course. From what I have read the unfortunate battery issue has been resolved with sales expected to resume this week. Most articles I have seen appear to draw the conclusion that this has done Apple a big favour given their own 2016 model has little new to offer this time around.

Same as the Note 7 compared to the S7 series. Bigger screen and Iris scanner, everything else is the same specs wise.

Only the cheaper phones have more to offer but thats them playing catch up with top end models.

Has anyone got a 7 Plus after having a 6S Plus?

I'm half tempted to cancel my order and save the £300 or so cost of upgrading.

If I had the 6S Plus I wouldn't be upgrading. I came from the 6 Plus to the 7 Plus and its not a huge step forward.

I only upgraded as my missus wanted my old phone.

That said I am enjoying using it, getting used to the new home button and it feels quicker when loading apps and stuff.

I've only made a few calls on my 7 thus far but it sounds incredibly "muffled" compared to my old 5S and lacking in any treble frequencies.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Cheers. I've never felt like my phone is slow. Occasionally I do get lag, I've no idea what causes that though.

I had the same issue with my S7E so i switched off the edge features. Silly gimmick.

I turned it off, still doesn't stop it registering touches, for example one handed scrolling I found almost impossible because the moment I got my thumb on the screen to scroll my palm was touching a bit and it thought I wanted a pinch to zoom action.

Properly irritating.. I've got warped screen edges, a screen impossible to hit a 1 or a 0 on when in a car holder (for a postcode for example) because you can't get your finger on the screen in that spot.. and unintended touche actions all for what? A bigger screen in a smaller body?

No thanks.

I went into an Apple store during my lunch break yesterday just to see if the Plus was the right size for me and I'm now completely sold on it. I think it's a perfect size for a phone.

And to think I was annoyed when the iPhone 5 got bigger :p

My 7+ 128 GB matt black has been dispatched today, should arrive tomorrow. I ordered as soon as the store went live on the 9th, for anyone wondering.

Looks like they're finally getting through the UK 7+ orders now.

Hopefully that means more stock to UK stores. My GF is now pressuring me into getting the 7 quicker so that she can have my 6 so we can facetime easier when she is away. C'mon Apple!
