When I go down to Cornwall, my 3 signal is OK. tolerable but not sure how I'd feel if it was my constant connection

I believe you can check on their site.

My work place is listed as an outdoor connection, which means at work my signal is going to be really flakey :( compared to EE where i have full 4G everywhere i go down here

Vodafone has some good Sim only deals, 20GB for £20 and 25GB for £25 with unlimited text/call. £25 also comes with free spotify/sky sports and I believe there was some top cashback or quidco.

iStock doesn't seem accurate. Was showing a few locations as having stock, checked them on the Apple website and they weren't taking reservations for those stores.

Am I being dim? :)

Eldon Square had some in today. I ordered a 7+ 256gb in Matt black last night and picked it up at 11.15am today. Dunno how many more they had though.

Can hear coil whine when the phone is up to my ear; not a big deal though as the room needs to be quiet.

Not liking the new home button. It uses the metal ring to detect your finger there so if you're wearing gloves you can't click the home button to enter your passcode.

I don't get this. My phone's screen has never worked with gloves on, so how do you enter your passcode?

FAO to those purchasing the 256GB models - what's your reasoning behind it? What would you be storing on the phone to require that memory?

This isn't in anyway a loaded question; it's pure intrigue as to how different people use their phone and what for.

Eg I have a 64GB with 7,000 photos, about a 100 podcasts, numerous apps and I still have 7GB available.

I've now got my entire music library on my phone, without having to reduce the quality when I sync it. It's also a lot quicker to sync as it doesn't have to compress on the fly. Just a couple of hours compared to about six hours!

I was 128gb before and used 110gb. Probably don't need the extra, but then again I was at 64gb and "Only" used 56gb previous to that.

I sync a lot of Spotify at extreme which takes up memory, and I have a huge photos library I use a lot (so caches a lot I guess). Apps also take a decent amount

I can now hear the coil whine from my phone! Only if the room is dead silent and I put my hear to the mid of the back I can hear it.

Will go to Apple to swap it out I think, but then again it's not a massive issue (I cant hear it unless I do the above)

Was brilliant till a few years ago, now it's crap. Wouldn't go back in a hurry!

I left Three earlier this year due to coverage. When it worked it was great but far too many pockets of zero signal for my liking. What finally did it for me was the very flaky signal in my own house which I just got fed up with.

Guys received my iphone today. Couple of questions:

Like someone else has mentioned my contacts and messages have not appeared on my new iphone. Any solution?

Also the glass screen protector I put on today doesn't seem to have stuck round the edges properly. There is a border all the way round, not sure if I need to apply another one. Anyone else experienced this?

Thanks :)
