Also the glass screen protector I put on today doesn't seem to have stuck round the edges properly. There is a border all the way round, not sure if I need to apply another one. Anyone else experienced this?

Did you restore via iTunes or iCloud?

Personally I never restore from iCloud.. purely for this reason! iTunes restore would have taken a couple of minutes!

This is ridiculous. Basically nothing has appeared!! Photos, messages, apps, mail accounts etc. are all missing. It's done the restore so I don't see why they wouldn't be here now!

Well assuming you've not done anything silly (:D) I imagine it's currently trying to re-download all your apps, sync your data etc.. so while it might look like it's doing nothing.. it probably is (sure sign is if the battery is draining quickly and the phone starts getting warm).

I'd just stick it on a decent WiFi network and leave it a few hours and come back to it!

Did you get prompted to update iOS before the restore?

I had the same issue where nothing appeared so I just erased all content and settings and then selected restore from iCloud and it worked that time

I've literally just done exactly that and was discussing it with my friend. After erasing it now gives a more realistic restore time, so it looks like it will download properly.

As you have mentioned the first time updating the software seems to interrupt the restore! Cheers :)

I have really thing gloves that work on the screen if I press harder than normal. No matter how hard I press though, the home button won't register it.

Really annoying. I also use my nail to click the home button but obviously that wont register anymore.

About the same. I'm with three and the gf with EE - only time three is better is when were on the moors else it's pretty much the same.

I just said it randomly appeared never mentioned the spillage ;)
In other news EE have despatched my Matt plus 128gb for delivery tomorrow so if I like that better ill keep that and get rid of the normal sized 7. Never had a plus size before so see if I can get used to it.
