The last game you completed, and rating.

Just finished Borderlands 1 GOTY and it was amazing. Last time i played this was around 4 years ago when some friends persuaded me to join them. I didnt think it was all that much but i got to admit i didnt really gave it a chance. This time around i played solo and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Absolutely incredible game. 8.5/10. Got some of the DLCs to finish and then moving onto Borderlands 2 and then 3.

Finished Ready or Not main game (now on to the DLC). I did not even try it while it was in early access, so the current release version was fresh, bug free and simply awesome. I would say it's the Dark souls of tactical shooters - meticulously designed hand crafted relatively open-ended levels, great combat that feels fresh (as you can't simply shoot everything that moves), dying is punished in various ways so you are kept on your toes. It's not as hard as DS though. But the atmosphere, the ambient sounds and music, the way the game surprises you how it does not pull any punches but treats you like a reflective adult... I gave Sekiro and Dark Souls 3 10/10, Ready or Not gets 9/10. What a game!

Axiom Verge 2, 7.5/10. Not as good as the first game which I loved, but not as disappointing as the Steam reviews suggest.

I did enjoy some genuinely original/interesting mechanics, and the plot was good if a bit hard to follow. Let down by quite a few typos and poor editing in the dialogue.

Still scratched my Metroidvania itch nicely, and I've still got a couple of hours' worth planned getting the last collectibles tonight.

Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine - 7.5/10

Brilliant game although because I like to collect all the achievements I found parts of it very repetitive. Looking forward to playing the 2nd one, once it's come down it price a bit.

The Outer Worlds : 7/10

Now this is my fault. I didn't pay any attention to the dialogue, I kind of sped through the game not really taking note of any of it... But I actually enjoyed it.

So im playing through it again and actually reading wtf is going on and taking more time over it.

The only game I’ve ever completed (don’t play single player games much and when I do I’ve usually lost interest long before they end)

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (9/10)

Thoroughly enjoyed replaying as Athena. It might be my favourite in the series. The nVidia PhysX effects are completely mad, particles flying everywhere. Not sure I remember all that in Borderlands 3.

Going to have another go with Claptrap VaultHunter.EXE now.

Dave the diver 7/10

Properly enjoyed this and was super relaxing but just had too many different mini games in it which I felt detracted from the main part of the game.

Assassins Creed Syndicate - 8/10

I really enjoyed this game and it was back to the old style AC after the previous one (AC Unity) which I found tedious to the point I just did the main story and then stopped playing.

AC Syndicate, on the other hand was fun, interesting and really enjoyable... I 99%'d the game too - I have 1 chest to find in WW1 part and I cant for the life of me find it :o

Anyways, I will do the Jack the Ripper EP and then onto Origins

Finally got round to finishing dark souls 3 after getting bored with it years ago still need to do the ringed city dlc and kill the boss at the end of the other dlc but i got bored again, i like the level design and the game has great atmosphere but i just get put off by the clunky combat.
Also started playing sekiro which im really enjoying and it has imo much better combat im about 2/3 through it i think.
Managed to get resident evil 2 remaster to work with hdr finally so im playing that too, i dont know how much its changed from the original but i dont remember most of it but i havent played the original since release.

Black Myth: Wukong - 8/10

Amazing job by the devs for their first AAA game. Cinematic ; wonderful rendition of the Monkey / Journey into the West mythology.
Let down slightly by some technical / performance issues that are more evident in the latter half of the game, and some major difficulty spikes which will undoubtedly frustrate many players.

Oceanhorn 2 - 8/10

Very much surprised me on how much there is in this game. I was expecting just a basic short and simple adventure game, but this was packed with much more than I thought.

Great adventure game to play and similar to Zelda. Nice and relaxing game to play after work. Highly recommended.

I had the same views about Syndicate after finishing Unity. Syndicate was far more refined. Unity also had a lot of issues on launch if I recall correctly and I dont think they fixed or refined it any further. I think you'd enjoy Origins as its a welcome change from the old combat system and general gameplay.
