The last game you completed, and rating.

Haha not quite. I quite gaming for 1 year for studies, when returned built a super PC from scratch, only to find out that this break made me realise gaming doesn't appeal to me anymore. No regrets though, was fun while it lasted :)

Hitman Absolution

Not as good as Blood Money, still really worth my time. Enjoyed the majority of the assignments, story was gripping enough to hold me but not a groundbreaking story. 7/10

The Walking Dead - Season 1 - Episode 4

HELL YEAH!!! That was brilliant, proper tense stuff, sweet twist, thoroughly enjoyable, spot on interactive story-telling!

9/10

Call of duty: Black ops 2

5/10

Normally like the single player experience of the cod games but this one was just mind numbingly below average, in almost every way.

The Walking Dead - Season 1 - Episode 5

Felt a bit rushed at time, but overall enjoyed it, some hella twists.

Not as awesome as Ep 4, but still a decent closure to the story.

7/10

Tomb Raider.

3/10.

I've seen Tomb Raider get some slammingly poor reviews here and I don't understand. Please explain why you didn't enjoy:
- graphical delight of the world you were set to explore
- interaction between objects from navigating falling plane wrecks to rooftop leaps
- weapon mechanics especially the way the bow wobbles and shakes you physically so you feel genuine strength in each bow release
- seamless cutscene to gameplay moments
- AI ability to spot and flank
- parallel of her young emotions compared to the steel hard trained explorer personality previously seen
- excellent camera angles complementing phenomenal level design
- jaw dropping scenery
- how she's scared but forced to kill for survival when dropped into this messed up situation
- Lara's obvious visual delights
- the tension in some scenes like the trapped wolf ambush...

Were you expecting something else from what's always been a puzzle shooter?

maybe people were expecting some puzzles, which it didnt hae outside of optional content, also people dont like qtes.

Quake Epsilon / Quake Nehahra.

Great graphical update for the game in the series (Epsilon). The most visually impressive I've seen yet for quake, 8.5 / 10.

Nehahra is well worth playing if you fancy more mileage out of the quake engine. The modders have clearly put a lot of work in to it, 7/10.

Shadow of Mordor: 9/10

Thoroughly enjoyed it throughout, but has a couple of niggling issues that make it not the perfect game. Main one being the ending.

I completed the story and nearly all side missions bar the captive ones and the hunting/harvesting ones in 16 hours played according to Steam.

Game gets very easy once you hit a certain level of abilities.

Skyrim

Ultimately a flawed diamond. Whilst I did love it for its epic scale and size, and managed to sink many many hours into it. The volume of technical issues and amount of mods required to make it enjoyable is not ideal and led to me abandoning it in the end. But it was still a great journey, but unfortunately a problematic one too.

So, hand on my heart, a fair score from me would be a 7/10 overall.

Wolfenstein: The New Order.

I enjoyed this game very much because it takes an alternate story and makes it really intriguing. The enemies are interesting and the settings are great. The combat is good but could have been better with better AI but overall the game is great fun.

8.5/10 for me.
