The Last of Us (HBO, from Creator of Chernobyl) - No game spoilers please

The kid waking up and acting stupid was painful to watch. Outside of that, pretty good so far.

Hopefully this will set a standard for zombie stuff and people will no longer continue to gobble up 10 years of ***** from the likes of TWD, and all their other ****** spin-offs.

Are you saying this isnt going to be them walking through ruins killing stuff for the next 10 years?

The Camera work is horrendous in this TV show! Take for example in the School and it focuses on the Clock, it's all over the place.

Can't watch it like this sadly, just me feel sick.. I mean seriously, use still cams if it's too damn heavy to hold

I think it's because they are trying to replicate certain scenes from the game. Like I mentioned a few pages back, I found the car scene in episode 1 difficult to watch.

I wonder if the 2nd season, should it genuinely follow the exact path of the 2nd game, will get the same "fan" reaction from the TV show fans as it did the game fans when it comes to "You Know What" ;)

I know I will find it almost impossible to watch if it does and I'm still semi-enjoying the TV show so far (6/10) as a massive 1st game fan.

Can't say it was that bad in the first 2 episodes but the opening scene of episode 3 is terrible for it - camera and focus like it is being operated by someone with a constant shake like the judder you see from old 8mm film, etc. also breaks the immersion as you can tell it is someone holding a camera.

Watched 2nd episode last night and i'm gripped, I enjoy having a show to look forward to through the week again, good to have a chat with others around episodes as well through the week and really take it all in before the next one.

Eager now to play the PC version of the game which I guess will release around the time the first season ends?

I for one can't wait for Chris Hemsworth to play the lead :D

Just kidding I won't watch it

Thought the 3rd episode dragged on a bit to much personally - could have fit the main bit into half the time, while the more interesting bit at the end felt a bit rushed.

Really enjoyed the episode. It was really well written, really well acted and very emotional.

it was a bit Brokeback Mountain but it played out really well although a little predictable.

I think it would have been funny at the end of the tape they played in the truck was Aerosmith “Janie’s got a gun”

Ep 3, WTAF?

Beautiful story, but an hour 15mins of Brokeback Mountain?

As above, that could have been really condensed down, we got it from the first bedroom scene (Ron Swanson - lol). I would have preferred the first few scenes, seeing them work with Joel/Tess in the past, back to Ellie and Joel and then the ending is Joel visiting the house.

I honestly didn't need everything else, the farm, growing stuff - TWD all over agin.
