The Last of Us (HBO, from Creator of Chernobyl) - No game spoilers please

Ep7 was fine, it’s canon as it was the DLC story. Imo watching ep7 was better than playing it.

Ep8 was decent, but was starting to feel a little too much like walking dead with the social dynamics of other groups

Only just started watching this, googled "cordyceps" and a neat little easter egg mushroom appears at the bottom of the screen the causes fungus growth each time you click on it :D

I know I'm late to the party, but god damn wasn't Nick Offerman and his partner amazing in episode 3.

I'm not gay, but if there was any bloke I'd have to be shacked up with in an apocalyptic pandemic, he'd certainly be at the top of the list of people I'd want survive the end of days with, encouraging me to take my one orangey, little whitey and big roundey.

What a moving episode.

The last episode was 53mins long... to save time they could have cut other less important to the whole story episodes. The last episode seemed to cut out a lot for stuff or atleadt shorten...

The Last of Us... A banging start followed by a slow meandering spiral into dull irrelevancy, with an 'ok' finale.
Paradoxically its simultaneously the slowest AND most rushed story I've ever seen.

I think I'd give season 1 maybe..... a...... 6.5/10 as a whole.
I guess you could say that summarizes the season as 'meh'.

Such a massive disappointment of a show, slow and meandering after a good opening and then rushed to high heaven for the last 2 episodes. Some very good moments but ultimately let down down by pacing. 6/10, average at best.

Great show and great ending.

Cons -

disappointed with the amount of infected, was hoping to see more of them.

Pacing was a bit all over the place. Lingered on non-important parts, non-interesting people yet raced through some key moments.

Pros -

It's TLoU! Pretty good and faithful to the game. Pedro was good and started to warm to Bellie.

Not looking forward to them ruining the 2 characters :(
