As I have not got to the ending, I can't say for certain it'll be to my taste, but that's just my point of view. YouTube attention-seekers can squawk and squawk until their balls drop, but, being grown up and stuff, I can ignore them and make my own mind up.
You'll be sick of it soon, they seem to be getting their moneys worth of the rope and glass puzzles.Did anyone play with the power cable physics?
I was impressed with the bullet drop physics, shame the main gameplay doesn't take advantage of it.
Is it any wonder when all the big name reviews were bought for?

Still amazes me that too how people seem to be ok with the way the reviews have been handled, fair enough if people genuinely are enjoying the game but to be ok with those scummy practices.....
Given that Benioff and D. B. Weiss careers are practically ruined now despite GOT season 8 being a financial success, the same will hopefully and most likely happen to Neil too especially with the way he is carrying on with twitter. Wouldn't be surprised if Sony step in given how the reviewers are attacking the players expressing their dislike over the story/writing now too.
Wishing peoples careers to be over for storymaking decisions is beyond pathetic. Get a grip.
Got season 8 was a joke start to finish but I'm a grown up adult enough to accept it and move on just like I did with lost and many other TV shows before it. I can still enjoy the fact that for the most part it was enjoyable 7 seasons prior to that. Yh the writers got it wrong and it never paid off but it happens.
Similarly I've enjoyed 15 hours so far, if by the end if it doesn't quite live up to the expectations due to a bad ending so be it. I'll again chalk it up and move on. Reddit and other online platforms are giving platforms to a dissenting vocal minority which is toxic and all about memeing and bandwagon jumping. Just because you shout the loudest does not mean you speak for the people.
I'm embarrassed for my generation if this is what it has become. There are much bigger fish to fry than crusading and getting bent out of shape about a games story not fitting your thematic ideals.

Just completed the game. Played it on "hard" was expecting some sort of trophy for completing it on higher dificulty, does not seem to be the case?
Anyway. I absolutely loved the game. Just as good as the original IMO. Some oustanding moments. The ending is well set up throughout the game and leads up to it very well, i will say some of the events are quite shocking.
The graphics are absolutely incredible. I have no idea how my ps4(none pro) was outputting what i was seeing on screen, Absolutely breathtaking, been a long time since i played part 1 on ps4 but cant remember them being quite this good!
Stayed away from all reviews and spoilers and im glad i did. Best £50 i have spent in a long long time.
Total in game play time for me to complete was around 27.5 hours. For a single player game that is not a RPG thats what i call value for money.

Had the guy not gone about doing things the way he did or/and came out and apologized then no problems but the fact he keeps being a **** about it all etc. isn't exactly how you deal with constructive criticism (ignoring the memes), guess what..... people get the sack for far smaller things in comparison to what he has got away with so far.

Don't bring this round here, it doesn't feed the narrative around 'hard-core' original fans and 'true-gamers' hating this game.
Jokes aside glad to see you enjoyed it im probably about 10 hours away assuming similar playtimes. Bracing myself for the worst when it comes to the ending since that's apparently the bit that makes 'zero sense' but glad to hear you could make sense of it in the context of the whole game.
Some hastily put together quotes, anecdotal evidence and primarily assumptions based analysis is not enough for me to condemn any one individual but you do you.
Got it today and played almost 5 hours. Enjoying it, the combat system is really nice and reminds me of playing the original all those years back. Remarkable what the PS4 can push graphically too from Crysis-like dense forest vegetation and god rays shining around to reactive foliage as you crawl through them and individual blades of grass etc. Props to them for that.
I've had one crash so far but as the game saves in pretty much realtime, a quick restart got me back into it.
This has also reminded me of why I prefer PC gaming. The disc drive is so noisy on the PS4, and I recall previous consoles being just as noisy too. There is nothing more annoying than a quiet area of the game where you are being stealth and listening out for enemies or at least trying to whilst the disc drive on the console goes WHIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR relentlessly.
Console technical issues aside, the game is brilliant and I waited 7 years for this as I bought a PS3 just for TLoU (and then discovered Uncharted afterwards) and once I was done, sold the console.

Then have screwed over a lot of devs for censorship only to give this hunk of junk a total pass. Thank god they didn't do any of that.

How far are you in the game?
Not sure how any of that is relevant to what I posted.
1. Hennig left 6 years ago and due to creative differences supposedly it happens nothing surprising. Her being female is irrelevant to that discussion she's also done nothing of note since leaving.
2. Sony being a large corporate entity defending its copyright is hardly newsworthy especially in respect of one of its largest ips. That it was overzealous due to third parties used is a sony issue not nd.
3. Censorship again is a sony issue if that is even one so again not relevant to nd.
which surprised me. It’s definitely tolerable.

I noticed it at the start of the game on Friday but it soon stopped so either my brain blocked it out or it's louder in certain scenes. Found the same when I played yesterday but it's certainly loud when it gets going
Don't feel sorry for them, feel happy that you weren't so shallow and stupidHonestly feel sorry for the people that chose to spoil the game and make their mind up that they were going to hate it in advance because of some agenda they have. Their loss.
