I’m actually starting to feel sorry for Sancho. Judging by the reports hes really struggling now. Turned off all social media, missed the Spain trip and is not even training with Utd atm.

The pressure to live up to that price tag was huge and he’s obviously struggling with it. I hope he can get the help he needs and turn it around.

Don't be silly! Footballers aren't allowed to be human or have feelings.

Just look back a year to when Rashford was showing some pretty clear signs of depression - no, sorry ... I got my words wrong. What was it most 'fans' were calling it? Oh yeah - laziness.

It's great to see that ETH is showing compassion and understanding in how to manage the mental health and wellbeing of his players.

However in the case of Rashford, if he was suffering with depression or anxieties, his manager (Ole) and the team there should have recognised this and withdrew him and given him the support he needed ala ETH. Instead he was thrown in the spotlight over and over, blind encouragement of "it'll come, just keep trying" by a manager without the competencies to handle a top level squad.

Should fans be more understanding and take consideration....abso-bloody-lutely! However fans trust that players stepping onto the field are in the right condition physically and mentally for that spotlight. If he was unwell then it was mishandled as it went on for years. It also does not mask his poor decision making, poor touch and lack of shooting ability (as he just hammers his foot through the ball at players) as he has done for 8 years now.

Rashford was coming on and walking around, not tracking back. Also when he was dropped he leaked stories that he was considering his future at the club. He deserved plenty of criticism for his behaviour last season.

#mentalhealth tho right. You can't be criticised in any way if you have any mental health issues.

1 year extensions for Dalot, Shaw, Rashford and Fred.

All on decent form, even if the likes of Fred aren't first choice any more.

Makes sense. The interesting one will be DDG. The club want him to take a sizeable pay cut and he obviously doesn't. Who can blame him. Honestly he is on about 200% of what he should be on so I imagine the pay cut they want him to take is huge. He won't get anything like these wages elsewhere and I don't know where he would go for even £150k. Cracking keeper when it comes to saves but far too weak elsewhere and most top clubs already have a good keeper.

How is harry Maguire a hit?

Big week coming up in the prem. Varane, Martinez, Dalot back. City at home, Arsenal away...followed by an easier run in Feb with Palace, Leeds, Leicester, Brentford.

Get two wins in Jan and I might start believing that more than top 4 is achievable this season.

You do actually know we have had statistically the hardest run of games out of all the big teams so far? We will have played Manchester City twice before Arsenal have even faced them once. We have also played far more away games. I think from now on we are at home more than away till the end of the season.

I honestly believe top 4 is easily achievable now. If we can get results against both City and Arsenal then we should be actually looking at a title race let alone top 4.
