If we can get results against both City and Arsenal then we should be actually looking at a title race let alone top 4.
Care to put that in some sort of short, quotable, signature size soundbite?

To be honest, I was hoping for top 4 this season, whilst realistically thinking we would fall a little short. However, the progress Utd have made under ETH this season after the initial first 2 games, is nothing short of a miracle. If we manage to get 4 points in Jan against City and Arsenal I am thinking we will be in for a shot at the title. Hell, we have a good chance at the FA cup and the League cup, the EL, hmm, if we manage to pass Barcelona, maybe that too.Care to put that in some sort of short, quotable, signature size soundbite?![]()

Wout, wout!€3m loan deal for Wout....
cheap, no risk, if it doesn't work out - no great loss.
If he gets 10 goals, great.
Gives ETH another way of playing if needed but at the moment would just leave things as they are - United are playing well, look happy in doing so, morale seems good.
Casemiro just looks better and better every game. First name on the sheet for me at the moment.
He is improving the side and he seems to put the team first over the big names. However, let's not forget that we spent a fortune on new players after those heavy losses. So whilst he has undoubtedly made things better, he's done it with better players at his disposal.I think you have to look at the trajectory, ETH is undoubtedly improving the side and we are getting consistently better at the moment. I don't feel like we go into any game now thinking we'll be lucky to get a result (except when slabhead starts).
City and Arsenal games are huge, not just for the points, but the momentum in the title race.
That's true, but the important thing is that he is also making our existing players better. He is improving the side and he seems to put the team first over the big names. Who made that statement? Its hard to argue that EtH hasn't done a cracking job so far.
Who made that statement?
I think his handling of Maguire, Ronaldo and Sancho speaks volumes. As does his honesty and openness with the media. Gone are the toxic Jose days and the LvG oddness.
There are some people who are saying he hasn't done that much. Most people understand how well he has done.
Everyone is talking about how much stick Potter is getting but ETH was set on fire basically at the beginning of the season. I haven't seen anything like it before. I remember that interview with Jamie and Gary were on him like a rash but he has come out of that plus dealing with Ronaldo and Maguire. He has also done it in a way without throwing players under the bus like Jose would do for example.
If and that is a big if we can beat City in a straight up fight tomorrow he will have cemented his place as one of the best managers of the moment and winning silverware will be a formality. Unless the club sale becomes a complete mess.
