Cans someone explain this to me, or am I not thinking straight?

Are all yellows cards wiped, for what reason?
Because it's an arbitrary line where they say "yeah - I guess it's reasonable to amass 5 yellow cards by this many games, so you won't be unduly punished for it from now on."

The do similar in some cup tournaments, usually around the quarter finals.

We're currently second highest in the league for yellows  City 20th, dat oil dolla buys you many things.

Casemiro needs to shave his head to get complete Brazilian DM immunity from yellow cards.

Fernandinho and Fabinho get away with murder before the yellow comes out.

It ******* hurts that the utter knobs that are the Glazers are going to have run our clubs so badly for nearly 15 years and are going to walk away with such a ridiculous reward after not even paying for the thing in the first place.

Want to know if he has the funds past £5 billion takeover though, cant say ive read to much about him?

Ultimately yes, with the clubs stature and cash generating ability, backed by Ineos the money will be there. Not at the levels of a PSG, but fine if things are run correctly.

However, Ineos are simply the first publicly interested party, others are yet to declare, the oil states may join in.

I can't get my head around why so many Utd fans want Ratcliffe owning them. He claims to be a Utd fan but has been a Chelsea season ticket holder for 10+ years and on numerous occasions he's tried to buy Chelsea, not Utd. He's also done a pretty terrible job owning Nice.

This is rather worrying.

I think a lot of fans don't want the club to be owned by an Arabic oil state, or an American consortium, which doesn't leave many options...

Nice is a completely different prospect but hopefully lessons have been learned there if it's been done badly (I don't know much about that).

I thought the facilities at nice were amazing? Not followed much else, but yes he seems to be the lesser of many evils.

It is a case of least bad of a number of bad options. Who should we be rooting for?

I think you're kidding yourself re the first part, sadly most fans do want oil money. Liverpool twitter is full of people desperate to tie a teatowel round their heads after some bs rumours about Qatar.

I fail to see how Ratcliffe is any different or better than another American consortium or any other random billionaire. He's being sold as this boyhood Utd fan but he clearly isn't in love with Utd - as I said, he's spent most of the last 5 years trying to buy Chelsea off Abramovich and had a season ticket at Stamford Bridge for many years prior to that. We laugh at Boehly at Chelsea but the French are laughing at him. I think Nice are onto their 5th coach in sub 4 years under his ownership and iirc there's quotes from their last coach about not knowing anything about a player he had signed for him (Ross Barkley by all accounts).

Answering the couple of other people that replied, being less worse than the Glazers isn't something to get excited over. Utd aren't likely to be sold again for a long time, if a sale does go through then you really should want it to be to the right person, not anybody that's slightly better than the Glazers.

I agree with Baz.........

But whoever buys it needs to wipe off the debt and put money into the stadium. That should be a prerequisite in my opinion.

The premier League has got itself in this situation where the only real course of action for both Liverpool and United to compete is to be taken over by a state.

Despite how Roman was as a person he was about the best owner you could ever wish for in terms of investment etc. Minus the trigger figure obviously.

Not a long line of people with multiple billions who fit the bill lining up to buy the club. It’ll go to the highest bidder because the Glazers will want the most money from the sale.
