That makes no sense.
It makes perfect sense, we paid £5m to release him from his Brighton gardening leave, yet Ratcliffe thinks £3m is a fair and reasonable offer for a “best in class DoF”, he’s already ****** up sending himself and the club emails about talking to other clubs while under contract, so I can see the club making him see out the full term of his gardening leave unless you stump up big bucks.
Anyway apparently, Ashworth’s target next season is Best in Show at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025.

Surprised he's chosen us over a managerial position even if it is in the championship.
no brainer really for Ruud to choose Utd. Think about it. 4 months into the season and ETH doesn't provide results or performance, hes sacked. Who else better suited to step in at interim manager, Ruud of course.

Suppose it would be Ruud not to.

A couple/few years experience at a huge club, working with big players (albeit I don't consider them that myself haha) with the potential to make a name for turning them around, is also quite appealing I imagine.

I would say it is a huge steal as obviously he is a bit over qualified as a coach. He has shown he can win silverware as a manager and will help develop our forward line. It has gone under the radar a bit but it is good to see we are at least trying to put the building blocks into place.
