Sanchez is not just that, his passing, movement and finishing (including long shots) are all very good too.

And can you start proof reading your posts Nick, for goodness sake :p

It was good to win the Europa League last season, but failure wasn't really an option due to the disastrous league position at the time.

While it would be over the top to say things are going very badly, put the league position aside for one moment. The football is complete garbage with no style or direction. It is absolutely painful to watch our games at the moment and football is ultimately about entertainment.

Mourinho in the past has been able to produce teams that are rigid but capable of playing well in general. In big European games I expect a Mourinho team to be awkward and boring, but it would do the job. However, I don't expect it every week, being regularly outplayed by lesser teams and winning only due to moments of individual brilliance or because the opposing team is knackered.

I do believe half of the squad is arguably not good enough at the top level, but why then have those players not been replaced? Why have we only spent huge sums on players, when a few £20-40m players would have a much better impact on the squad. Mourinho has to shoulder the blame for this.

Every week I am becoming more disillusioned, and there are no signs of it getting better. We're in Moyes territory now in terms of performances on the pitch. There has to be massive improvement between now and May.

I agree in theory, but the big signings are not pulling their weight. Pogba, Lukaku and now Sanchez are not winning games really, and the less said about Lindelof, the better. :o

Quite pleased about this, Mourinho isn't going anywhere and some changes are needed (on the pitch and also the staff). Not that I think Mourinho will change much, but we can hope, surely even he must realise his old style isn't working anymore.

The season hasn't been a disaster but the quality of football has been utterly dire in nearly every game. It's really quite shocking.

Rio is in talks to become the clubs new Sporting Director - seems a bit odd, what are his credentials exactly?

I’d rather someone more experienced and not necessarily linked to the club.

We don't really want these big players joining, we need to build something using players just below that top level. The big players have done nothing for us.

I'm not being funny, and De Gea has been great for us over the years, but if he didn't really want to be here, Romero could have done a good enough job at least for the moment.

Anyway, it's good he's staying and I hope his form picks up a bit.

Either this is Manchester United papering cracks, or the board & Woodward really don't believe the issues are as bad as they are.

How can you say that non-football personnel aren't making football related decisions? Flip that on its head and they're saying that those decisions are being made by those who have knowledge of the game and if that is true, then those people clearly don't have as much knowledge as they think they have.

Woodward must think everyone is daft. He seems more worried about people's perception of him than running the club properly.

£850m spent on transfers in 6 years, the biggest annual wage bill in the league, and we're a sinking ship. Yeah, they're doing great.

I actually agree with Baz (and others), Klopp had a good track record, and implemented a style of play gradually which has turned out to be fantastic in terms of performances and player recruitment. This was obvious from the very start, you could always see what the plan was.

Solskjaer has none of these things. His entire philosophy seems to be playing fast young players on the counter attack the 'good old Fergie way'. You need so much more than that.

Sure, he did well for a few months, but beyond that he just seems like a Glazer 'yes man' to me and that's just not a good look. :(

Our games between now and the 1st Nov:

Newcastle
PSG
Chelsea
RB Leipzig
Arsenal

If we play as we have done in the last few games, this isn't going to end well. Can see Ole being gone before too long.

In the past we've done well in these situations, but I'm not hopeful now unless Telles and Cavani can lift the entire squad massively.

Regardless of the result tomorrow, he needs to go, I fear he'll keep hanging on though and we'll get rid of him right after Poch gets a new job.

Nothing against the guy, I just don't think he's suitable.
