That's the first shave done with a Feather. Three and a half passes, first with the grain, second against the grain, third across the grain and then the half was under my chins, ear to centre with a little touching up. I have just one very tiny nick that I didn't even notice.

Best shave I've ever had. Almost totally smooth, apart from a small patch under my right ear, I can't feel any whiskers anywhere, even stroking against the grain.

I've been DE shaving for a couple of weeks now, using the cheap £5 safety razor from Boots and some no name blades from Asdas. Better shave than any Mach3 i've used. My birthday is coming up soon and I know what i'll be treating myself to.

Used astra razors this evening. Only a few nicks this time

Took it nice and easy which helped a lot.

I used that proraso post balm after the shave. Very refreshing! Especially when the menthol kicks in.

Why do the blades have numbers on them? Am I supposed to turn them over after each use?

Are you a convert!? :D

Not in training yet, finished physio and now trying to be able to run properly again.
I don't doubt if I pass my medical this time a silly handlebar tache will be frowned upon so am doing it whilst I can!

I reckon come next weekend I'll be curling it up! :)

Yeah I'll be quite surprised if they don't tell you to shave it off at basic :)

I've been trying the ASTRA's out and I'm not really impressed with them
. The Gillette 7'oclocks are great however.

Another happy customer!

I must add another plus for the Proraso pre/post balm. I simply adore this stuff!!!

Can someone tell me what the Proraso aftershave is like? Is it heavily scented and if so whats the fragrance of?

I had a manly shave this morning, I felt all butch and, well GRRRRR

I felt all manly and done a tiger claw move whilst staring at myself in the mirror

Shame I cut myself, I hate doing that is it dont stop bleeding.

Then you need...

Although, if you go to superdrug they're about £1.50. It stings but it works a treat at stopping the blood flow.

I've tried the Geo F Trumper shaving creams and liked them.. but wanting to try something else (mainly the Almond DRHarris shaving soap) and Mankind never having it in stock I picked up this:

WOW! Does it give me a smooth shave! Leaves a kind of film/layer behind after rinsing. The smell is somewhat amazing too.

These things are pretty! It's a work of art as well as being functional :)
