I've halved it to 2mm using an i-Stubble, looks kinda weird though! Don't like it... I better be getting the good loving in return for my sacrifice!

That was on the 5th grade though, normally I use it on the 4th.

Best thing you can get for just £25.

thats neither manly nor shaving!

looks like i am going to try a DE razor, have been using a wahl sterling 2 electric trimmer for a few years after getting rashes on my neck from the cartridge shavers, going to get the starter kit from tradition shaving but need to wait for the merkur 34c HD to come back in stock because that seems to be the go-to shaver for beginners!

How cheap are you talking, you don't get much cheaper than the Edwin Jagger DE89 and it is a quality razor.
Indeed. I got a Edwin Jagger DE89L for £22 and it's fantastic. I shaved so fast last night I couldn't believe I didn't cut myself once. If I'd shaved at that speed with my old Merkur 34C I'd be bleeding from a few deep wounds. ;)

I think its the slightly longer handle on the DE89L that lets me get a smoother shave on my neck, quicker than I would with the Merkur. I'd have to make 4-5 passes to get anything like a smooth neck and even then there'd be rough patches. Now I do 1 or 2 passes and my neck is smoother.

Do you know a reliable UK source for these?

Any forum-favourite sellers?

Right, a year and half ago (approximately) i bought some shaving soap and 50 blades. The shaving soap is finally beginning to run dry though i imagine there's still a month or so left in it, still got over 10 razors left though! (whole lot cost less than £30, bargain or what?)

I've decided with this online shop i will go the whole hog and get new soap, pre-shave and aftershave treatments. I'm probably going to go for Wool-fat soap but don't have a clue what is a good pre-shave or aftershave, though i must note i've got sensitive skin.

Any suggestions for what i should buy guys? I'm not loaded so i'm looking to spend around £10 for each item, but i'll shell out a couple of quid extra for something 'well worth it'.

I went for the 38C as it's identical to the 34C but with a longer handle, which I prefer due to having big hands, it's a fiver more though!

Apparently MFW isn't good for people with sensitive skin.

Looking to replace my Wilkinson Sword Hydro, seems to be a lot of recommendations on the thread but not really sure what to go with.

At the moment I shave daily, but instantly feel like I need another shave and its certainly not what I would call "close", have been using l'oreal men extra sensative shaving gel, and also a l'oreal face wash thing before.

Any recommendations?

Well having looked into it, there seems to be a fair bit of choice, lol!

Am assuming there isn't too much difference between the brushes, however there are 7 different blades on traditional shaving I can choose from, and a whole host of creams and soaps... I have no idea where to start. Any pre shave treatment needed?

Couldn't find a 32C on there but the 38C is.

does anybody use the bay island rum aftershave? meant to have good reccomendations for wet shaving, can anyone give any feedback on it?
