Poor youtube quality does it no justice. :(

I've heard all kinds of metal, but this sounds truly original to my ears. The whole album (Samus Octology) including their second album (Sol Eye Sea I) are works of genius in my opinion.
 

Received the new Lamb of God album with bonus live CD this morning, what an utterly brilliant album. Can't wait to see them at Download :D
 
That new Lamb of God CD provides, been a while since a band has hyped an album then brings the goods imho.

EDIT: Opeths newest album! Also amazing, I stand corrected, oh and Mastodon! I'll shut up now

More Merch has been ordered guys.. hoodies and girls skinny tee's. we will then look at getting some of the other designs up. btw, Calls for a reunion are amazing.. thanks... OF COURSE we want to... we've never said other wise. It will happen when the times right. There WILL be another SikTh record... and it will be our best... thats a PROMISE. It took us the best part of 2 years to complete the writing of DOADD so I guess you'll have to be patient. Besides, theres a bucket load of riffs that we wrote for album three still sat there - so we'll have a head start next time ;-)

I am so sodding elated I can't believe it. Sikth have to be one of my all time favourite bands so this news to me is like hearing I've graduated with a 1st a year ahead of everyone else. Ok it may not be very soon, but still, just the fact that it's coming is awesome.

Can you tell I'm pleased? :D

The trees are dead and dried out... is possibly my favourite album of all time (certainly top 3) so I cannot wait for a new Sikth album.
You should check out Pins new band Aliases if you hadn't already.

I quite enjoyed the new album. Certainly an improvement over Wrath, but personally still doesn't measure up to any of the other albums. That said was a great listen and im sure will grow on me more over time!

Now just for Tool to release a new album -.-
 

The everlasting wait for the new Tool album goes on. That said, 10,000 days keeps getting better and better.

I've been listening to Disturbed's debut recently.


I always catch on to trends 15 years after they happened...

Looking through some old posts its pretty interesting what some people consider "metal"

Personally i don't care, music is music - you either like the sounds or you don't

i frequently change from metal all the way down to some good ole jungle.

as long as it sounds good genre don't mean a thing.
