Greg, you have 80% of the market thinking whatever AMD is doing it is doing it wrong, so stop moaning. nVidia was welcome to suggest those features to be used by Ashes devs, yet they chose to try to force devs to remove async shaders. There is always a pattern on how nvidia does business and on how AMD does it.

I wasn't moaning and it was a general question revolving around my observations and a fair question I thought but this is not the thread for it and maybe worth discussing in the other AoTS thread.

Could do with more scores in general :P

Indeed. It would be nice to see more results from 970s original Titans to 7970s and 290s.

And would be nice to get some multigpu mixed configs. Shame you don't have your F-X anymore :P

dev bias ends when they starts coding for DX12. If nvidia cut corners on dx12 feature sets its their problem.

So you agree that nvidia should pay developers to crank up Tessellation because ""dev bias end when they start coding for Dx12. if AMD cut corners on Dx12 feature sets it's their problem."

There is a new version out that has some performance optimisations and memory optimisations. Did one run on 1080p at got a bit better results with lower overclocking than my current run at 1080p.

Yup, i got a small improvement in FPS.

Since I hate windows 10, I thought I would at least post a bench using DX12 (The only reason I tried it) before going back to win 7.

GPU bound 100% on all tests. 390x too slow for 3930k? Game optimizations maybe?

I am seeing something weird, I think the settings in OP might now be wrong. if I set terrain samples to 'high' the bench is setup for 8m samples. I need to set it to 'ultra' to get 16m, or am I doing something wrong ?

edit: I think the options menu is bugged as my settings keep resetting.

edit: I have now manually updated the settings.ini file and it is working
