The New European Super (borefest) League

The only one I expect to speak out is Klopp, the rest are charlatans. Oli won't stand with his "mates", he knows he can't afford to lose the job, he's been living off a couple goals and a sub appearance for his whole career. :p
Arteta won’t say **** either. This is Kroenke’s pet project, he knows he’d be out on his ear if he pipes up.

I've nothing against players or managers who don't speak out. Realistically they can't do so without walking away from their jobs and their clubs have put them in an awful position. I'd have huge respect for anyone who does speak out or walk, but I don't think it's fair to criticise those that don't.

This season alone:

Chelsea 0-0 Man Utd
Arsenal 0-0 Man Utd
Liverpool 0-0 Man Utd
Man Utd 0-0 Man City
Man Utd 0-0 Chelsea
Chelsea 0-0 Spurs
Would be nice if 0-0 draws awarded no points to either team, and only score-draws awarded any points (or wins, obviously).

Maybe even -1 point to each team for a nil-nil.. Nobody wants to see a "defensive masterclass" with absolutely dire creativity or attacking play. Well, maybe some purists do, but for every "good" 0-0 there are 10 really awful games, where teams are just afraid to do anything. -1 points for a 0-0 seems fair to me!

Let's be honest, it wouldn't surprise anyone if there's a competent football manager working as a supermarket shelf stacker and he's just swapped roles with Arteta for a new series of Faking It.

If Arteta stands against it and is sacked, no one is going to bat an eyelid :p

Managers are stuck in a hard place now, end of a day it is there job, if they speak out there going against there employer.

Of course as public we would respect them coming out and saying its a **** decision which I think every fan and pundit agrees on.

Can Uefa do this when it's Fifa that do the international stuff ?
UEFA run the Euros, FIFA the World Cup. They can ban them, in the same way they could ban Man City from competing in the CL - it would be taken to CAS and they'd ultimate rule on whether the ban was legal.

Some journalists have already reported that the Super League clubs have already issued FIFA & UEFA with legal papers premeditating a future legal dispute. If these clubs really do push ahead with these plans then one thing is certain, sports lawyers are going to make a fortune.

If the players in these teams are barred from playing for their country, and also possible expulsion from their domestic leagues. As a player, even if you are paid well, 10x or 100x, it's going to get boring fast, 1 little ESL is all you play, the same teams year in year out. There wouldn't be anything to play for, it will be no different than players going to China at the end of their career.

The JP Morgan trophy O_o

All for money, abandoning fans, calling them legacy fans, next gen fans based in Asia and America.

Think they going to struggle to find these other 3 clubs.
