The "New Gear/Willy Waving" thread

Finally got round to picking up a 35mm 1.8 for my D7000. Had the 50mm for a couple of years and it doesn't get much use as I just find it to long for most instances. Only had a quick play with the 35mm but I think ill use it so much more than the 50. Seems a really useful length and it's nice and sharp as well.
 
Finally got a Minolta 135mm f2.8 (Pocket Rocket!) for the A77. Always wanted to try one but they don't come along very often.

Thanks - hoping to give its first run tomorrow at a party. I've started watching Mike Browne videos on YouTube - there's a lot :D!!

Just purchased a Crumpler Banana Cube and 32Gb SanDisk Extreme SDHC card as well, should all do me nicely for a while :)
 
Just ordered a Nikon D5200 with 18-55mm VR Lens Kit.

£380.00 delivered. Can't wait for it to arrive and should be a nice upgrade from my Lumix G3 micro 4/3 i'm using currently :)

Mike Brownes videos are excellent for getting started :) I need to get out and take more pictures.

I loose them round the house mostly forgetting where i have put what cards, so this lives on my desk with the cards in one place, so unless i loose the house, i dont think i will be in trouble :D

Thankfully i dont have a basket or eggs to put in it, it must be lost :p
 
Some bits arrived :D

24-70mm f/2.8 Nikon (Used), course materials for my OCA studies, x-rite calibrator and Manfrotto joystick ball head.

1) my sigma 120-300mm is back from reoair and fixed
2)amazon failed to deliver my new monopod
3)no matter my benro Gimbal style head isnt here until wednesday anyway!

these all count as new - even though one isnt, and 2 arent here yet!
