3) Yes, Bootcamp is part of OS X. As far as I know a number of people have successfully bootcamped Windows 7.

I tried it last time (3 years ago) and told them it was a present (for my student cousin) and they just processed the request. I am going to try that again toay, after a 17" unibody.
 
Just ordered a 17" unibody and saved nearly £600 with HE discount, but the delivery time is 21st March :mad: which is a killer. The sales guy even said that he'll prioritise it for me.

I just can't wait for my first mac ever.
 
Ordered from the HE store today, along with Applecare and a WD 320Gb Scorpio from OcUK.

"Ready to ship in three days", estimated delivery time is the 13th to 16th March so that's the end of next week. How accurate do these estimates tend to be?
 
Just wanted to clarify that anyone buying a Mac through HE discount automatically gets three years HARDWARE Applecare included. Paying the extra £50 (or so) gives you three years TELEPHONE support as well as the hardware support.

Slogan - That's good. I reckon stocks are probably OK because if I'd not increased the RAM it was available to ship within 24 hours.
 
Feek- how much was that in the end? Getting ready to go for a Macbook and not sure if the pro is worthy of the extra!

Oh so if I do not bother with applecare I will definately get the 3 yr warranty? (lol- I think that's what u've said there)

Wowsa- the pro's are quite a bit more aren't they! Certainly very nice but for my use I don't think I can justify the difference.

Think i'm gonna go for a Macbook 2.4Ghz , 4GB , 250GB HD. With HE it comes out at £1,052.25

Is the scorpio drive the best 320gb about? If I were to swap a 320GB in could I use the 250GB one in my PS3?

By the end of the week is my bet!

That's how long mine took at it was heavily customised and ordered on the 19th of december!

I'm not really sure i like the 7200RPM drives Apple chuck in the MBP, mine seems to vibrate and make a some noise whereas my old 5400rpm on the 17" is silent!

I've not gone with the Apple supplied 7200rpm drive, got a WD Scorpio black sitting in my drawer at the office :)

/edit - Just checked and the price has dropped on the order details by £14.95. Odd, but I'm not complaining.
