Its a Micro USB B-Type
This is what I think as well. Can test it for sure later.
Its a Micro USB B-Type
grrr, not what I wanted to hearWhen I lock mine and then unlock the wifi connection is gone and doesn't automatically come back.
I mentioned thatTo keep the wifi active, all you need to do, is go into settings, and look in wifi settings, advanced and set the wi-fi sleep policy to never![]()
Hmmm, I did fin wifi keep alive - I wonder if that will work?Even that doesn't sort it.
Oooh, that sounds like the first flaw, a proprietary connector….
Is this definitely correct, as it's one of the real redeeming features of my HTC Magic?
It's not a standard micro-usb connector.
I got this phone last week.
Only issue I've had is that over £10 of credit disappeared whilst the phone sat there charging on Saturday. I checked and there wasn't anything downloading.
I had to turn off the 3G function in the end, now my credit has stayed the same for the past 3 days.....
I was going to call Orange customer services, but they won't do anything.
I think it is micro USB, so a standard micro USB cable should work.
Villian rom forums has a section now, and will be doing roms, once nathan has his to play with![]()
What benefit will I get from unlocking the phone?
I'm on orange pay as you go and don't intend to change it.
What is rooting exactly? does it allow you to remove the orange stuff from the phone?
Ordered my screen protectors Sunday, came this morning!
Felt a little sticky at first, but soon became a lot nicer.
6 for £1.75, is just mental!
Anyone else want one for the price of postage, just let me know!
Any one else having trouble with thier orange sim? Mine took over 24hrs and still wasn't activated. After I phoned CS (offshore) I was told I had lost my £10 credit and had to claim it back which takes up to 5 working days.
Anyone else found that on the custom ROMs the notification light only works if a)the phone is plugged in charging or b)the screen is unlocked? Doesn't seem to work for me if the screen is locked, which defeats the point
