The new Orange Android phone (San Francisco) £99...but a Question??

I'm pretty sure the clock is just called "Digital Clock Widget" and the battery meter is "BattStatt Free"

Shout if you can't find em mate and I'll try to get direct links.
I managed to find battstatt free but the digital clock widget that I found which was similar to yours wasn't as good, 24 hour only and the date was above the time, not below. :(

Thought I'd show off mine too!

I got mine delivered the other day and really impressed but I can't get it to connect to my router at home it recognises it and tries to connect after about 30 seconds it says disconnect. I'm using an Ipod touch on the same router and it has no problems connecting. Any help gratefully received

picked one up today :-) seems great so far, except the camera!

is there away to wake the phone without pressing the button on the top? on my old pulse I could just tap screen..

Surely that defeats the whole point. Having the touch screen active when in standby would waste a lot of battery.

Think it's just a case of getting the right person at the right time. :D

Aye, seems so.

Well I tried a few times and a mate who is with Orange payg tried. They wouldn't give him anything off at all (2 different salesperson).

So before I was going to go into town today and pick one up for £109.99 as it's still a bargain, I thought I'd give it a go. He told me the £30 is for current customers only, boooo :(. But after a little persuasion I got the £20 top up instead of the £10 one for the same price, couldn't argue with that :).

[I managed to get the clock (called 'Fancy Widget') by scanning this,

Using a barcode scanner on my phone ( I used 'ShopSavvy Barcode Scanner') it'll take you to the widget, there will be a message warning you that the widget has been discontinued due to HTC's complaints but it still lets you download and install it.

This code doesn't seem to work anymore- does any have a copy of the install, or an alt location?

This is what App Referrer gives me as a barcode, see if this works :)

After a week of ownership and slowly improving battery life I charged it last night and it has only lost 4% battery in 12 hours whilst idle. Much better. Gaming really hammers it but I can get about 10-12 hours out of the battery with what i would call heavy use so quite happy.

Thats because I turned off your autoupdate time and date.....NEWB

Apologies if this has been answered already, but has anyone managed to get the SanFran for £79 without being a loyal Orange customer? Or is the quidco £12 off the only offer going for us non-Orange customers?

Mines unlocked and on 3, skype works and msn messenger both of which are free. I have the .apk's for both if you need them.:)

Please can I have them too?

Im on 3 but using the standard skype and msn, not the 3 version ones so its just using my net bandwidth when I use them. I have 2GB but still would prefer to not have to use it :p

Answers are on the same page :).
