The new Orange Android phone (San Francisco) £99...but a Question??

Liking it so far, bought 2, one for my brother and one possibly for his wife, if not I'll play a lot with it!
Very impressed with it for £81! in noe biast honesty I still prefer my iPhone, but this is a very good phone, great OS, taking some getting used to, seriously contemplating keeping the 2nd for myself for taking around if I don't wanna batter my IP4, holidays etc..
And just to play with!

Any guides how to root using Win7 X64. For a Android Noob
•From a command prompt (at the directory containing these new files!) run 'fastboot-windows flash boot boot.blade.superboot.mcri.r3.img'
^^ Do not uinderstand that bit
from start menu..

command prompt
change directory to where you've put fastboot (using CD \fastboot or wherever) then type fastboot-windows flash boot boot.blade.superboot.mcri.r3.img etc

Thanks to you both now I succesfully rooted the San fransico, only the Rom to flash left
Edit. How do I flash to the latest rom. Links and dummy guide anywhere? Android is new to me coming from windows mob.

Just done mine, i love this little phone and the apps it has now are far more useful, im just glad all that orange rubbish is wiped.
How do i install angry birds, just whack it on the sd card and use the installer i assume?

I've currently got an iPhone 3GS, How would you rate the San Fran compared to it?
I've been looking at the HTC Desire HD, pre-ordered it but later cancelled the order due to cost and waiting

Really wanting to get another Android phone, just cant decide which to go with. This seems to make sense as I could get £220 for the iPhone.
Also has this got pinch to zoom in the web browser?

Just wondering if any OSF owners have downloaded the LBC radio app from Market as it does not work on the OSF but is okay on the Desire, Streak and Samsung Android phones that I have. The app starts okay and crashes when it tries to connect with an 'Unable to Connect' message. Have the options to 'Retry' or 'Exit' where multiple retries have no effect. Have flashed the ROM to r3 but no luck as the app still crashes. Tried clearing application data using Settings -> Applications but still no luck.
Has anybody else had problems with radio station apps or streaming apps on OSF? Youtube's okay so not sure what the problem could be.

Well, my SF arrived earlier today, yey!
But wow, are Orange customer service **** or what? Every other payg mobile I've had over the years I've been up and running pretty much straight out of the box. Why include 2 sim cards? After messing about for ages then realising I was using the pay monthly one, I registered the payg which took me no less than 20mins and 4 different customer service people and having to repeat the same bloody info...grr.
So, after all that I was informed that the sim would be active within 24-48 hours...48 hours? Are they ******? Jeez.
I was going to use all the free credit I have with the Orange sim then get around to the whole unlocking stuff, I may just chuck it in the bin now

Your unlucky then i didnt have to register my payg sim to b able to use it
Does the Facebook app only add photos to existing contacts (which I have synced with my google contacts) or does it add all people in your Facebook friends list? I would like photos, but not all 400 friends from Facebook in my contacts list!
