They did, well not exactly, but they said to her, there is certain drawbacks or something along those lines.
 
Well now I am back after my suspension I can respond on this thead.

Funny I whinge about forum rules being broken and spoliers being placed and I get the feckless ban. Joy for absence of 3 days.

Anyway, the spoliers I see have remained within the thread, but peopel speak of blue aliens, and why everyone harps back to them. One reason would be their continual appearance within the opening credits, they continue to reference Chloe being captured by 'aliens' thus far the only thing the crew of the destiny have to go on, is that she is changing and they previously captured her. Whether true or not, thats why we keep mentioning blue aliens, and will keep doing until the ship proves us wrong and Chloe turns up ancient. (Which i doubt happens next week, or we'd have been told about it)

Our other alien friend, those who hold Col.Telford have turned up again, or certainly their hibernation pods seems to have, so we can assume they might be more widespread in the current galaxy dentist is within.

I am enjoying the show more and more, and finding it more engaging rather than less.
 
Great episode last night, shame T-BAg/Scar had to be killed off though since he pretty much didn't do anything all season before now.

Also a shame that the Red Head LA girl is dead :(
 
If they do get a season 3 i bet it goes off on a mental tangent of gun action and rampant sex with Lt Boobs.

Its funny to think its already season 3 and they have basically done nothing.....
 
Why cant stargate series ever stay on track, why do they always have non essential, filler episodes. I really like this series, because its different to the others, the others were a bit cheesy (enjoyable non the less at a geeky level) this one however has a bit of substance and grit, yet the cheesy filler episodes keep creeping in.
I love the fact begbie is in this, hes amazing, he adds that bit of class all the other series have lacked. They need to concentrate on him and his stories.

Tbh Rush is one of the characters thats had the most attention (not that it's a bad thing).

Some of the 'filler' episodes have been pretty dull, like Cloverdale with the giant aliens plants and hallucination. With SG1 and SGA you can understand why the filler stuff is there, with it being designed for syndication. But with serialised stuff like SGU it does feel like they keep hitting potholes in the road with odd episodes.

That being said, enjoyed Malice for the most part, they had to kill of Gin/Perry tbh, just to send more characters into turmoil.

But yea it's true to say they've not really actually done a whole lot thus far, hardly any real exploration of this ship (which is addressed in the back half of the season so I've read) and there've been hardly any classic "go through the gate to explore" episodes ... mainly due to that silly count-down clock they have to contend with - get it sorted Eli!

I only hope the studio don't pull the plug as the show certainly has great scope for future seasons ...
 
I thought last nights was an exceptionally good eidoes, they suddenly pulled a storyline from nowhere and they've rolled the 'interesting' dice.
Hopefully they'll come up 6's.

When is this due back on, I assume the cliffhanger was due to mid season break, so when is it coming back? Hopefully earlier than April, as last year it took them to April to start screening it again.

No seriously, we have to wait four bloody months again. Just when the show was starting to get some momentum going as well though as cliffhangers go it wasn't a very good one, especially since Malolzi stated the show has a five year arc.
 
Again :( these stupidly long breaks (hiatus they call it iirc) don't do the show any good.

I didn't think "resurgence" was that bad, it wasn't the best mid-season cliff hanger although by the time it returns it could all be too late if syfy wield the axe :/
