The new tomb raider game

I would like to map my USB-Playstation controller to be used with this demo.

Does anybody have the playstation control layout for this game so that I can set my pad up the same way?

Cheers.

ROFL ROFL ROFL my friend went into a BIG CHAIN ELECTRIC STORE today, some chap served him, so when he was paying for his Xbox360, the guy said do you want any games for it, so my friend just said like is that tomb raider, how much is it, the guy said £45 or however much it was just as an enquiery but the guy behind the till actually sold him the copy of Tomb Raider for his 360 before release, now im not sure of the legality of this, but im sure when the manager finds out a game has been sold before its release the chaps going to get a thorough telling off. Can't blame him though, he looked old and innocent so wouldnt have expected him to know the release date, it was just there next to a pile of Fight Nights and Project Gothams. Still lol all the same. We've been playing it tonight, and i must say it looks absolutely amazing, got stuck on a bit though, tried lookin for a walkthrough but as the games not out, cant find one, seems to be the bit right after were the demo finishes.

I remember when I was working in Somerfield and we'd get the new DVD releases a few days before the official release date. It was really drilled into us how important it is NOT to sell it before the release date and how much trouble they'd get into if that happened!

Ok what exactly is ''next gen graphics'' referring to, does it literally mean the cards that are yet to be released  it would seem so, as theres no current cards that seem able to play this game.. im downloading now but doubtfull my 6800's are gonna be up to it :(

nah, ive just found out that the 'next gen graphics' is not available in the demo because otherwise the demo would be massive in size. apparently they are releasing a patch when the full game is released.

What sort of fps does everyone get at the start? I only played for 20seconds or so but it was around 70s and 80s in 1280x1024 in max settings. goes this mean that next gen stuff (im thinking hdr,sm3 and the like) will make it run around 40 or 50 in the same res/settings?

Just played up to puzzle thing where you move the crates and must say im impressed :) I had all the detail on with aa enabled and must say the graphics looked great playing in widescreen on my sammy 26" hdtv, very crisp and clear and surprisingly my 6800gt's in sli gave me a very playable framerate of around 60fps :)

I think I would prefer this for my 360 but very much doubt the 360 will look as good as it does on this pc demo, so far all 360 games have had no AA :(
but will the 360 have the next gen effects coz I know for sure my pc will melt with them turned on:confused: ?? Maybe ill have to wait for a 360 demo to be availble before i decide.

with next gen gfx enabled, it does cause a lot of stuttering, not sure of exact FPS but id imagine it to be circa 30fps. the next gen really does look a lot nicer, but ive heard they are releasing a patch on Friday because there are some problems with the next gen graphics, also, would the game play a lot better if i got another 6800gs 256mb and SLi'd them up? would there be a real benefit? as im thinking of doing this also so i can play oblivion in full prettiness.
