The Newcastle United Club Thread **No Spoilers**

Interesting move letting Wood leave. I didn't really rate him but feels it leaves us light up front. I feel a Wilson injury is almost inevitable.
I'd love Howe to go with 2 up front, especially over these next three games which are all winnable but can't really see it. I think he'll change things a bit though, Bruno will leave a big gap.

We made an offer for 18 year Brazilian Matheus frança. Been chasing him a while. Source Fabrizio.

If we secure champions league then we have to go all out for Rice. Simple.

Bruno, Rice and J7 would made this most dominant, Technical and Phyical midfield in the league.

Getting a semi just thinking about it.

Do ya reckon? There no doubt Rice is good but Overvalued? I can't help but feel there will be better options our scouting team will be looking at. I only think that because of what they uncovered with Bruno, an absolute bargain.

The biggest bonus of Rice of course would be he's proven prem.

Few lads at work suggesting we should try and get Phillips out of city but I don't like that idea very much.

its so refreshing that in times gone by(Ashley) the sky6 would have taken Sven, Bruno and big Jo from us just out of spite. Now they know they haven’t got a chance in hell of getting them

Big fan of Rice you can probably tell from pervious posts. Doubt Westham would be in a position to hold out for 100m+

65-80m would be perfect.

Ball carrying 6/8, Good range of passing. Just turned 24? Improving each season.

Probably down the pecking order but we definitely should throw our names into the hat.

Sorry like but rice doesn’t go for anything less than £100m

Leaking news that Shelvey might be on his way to Besiktas? If him and Wood are off our wages that would free up over 200k a week for some squad injection.

I hope they surprise us with something Bruno/Isak like, totally kept under wraps until the deal is done. Having Ashworth in place is a god send.

I think Rice would be a 100m player in todays market, especially in this window. I really like the lad, I think he’s a fine player that would walk into most teams but when you consider ffp and Newcastles previous low revenue I don’t think we are in a position now or the near future to be shelling out three figures on one player like. If they are serious about a consistent challenge on the top 4 and European football then we need 6 bodies of quality through the door.

Let me start with we way down the pecking order but we should try our hand.

He will have a year left on his contract in the summer.

There is zero risk for any of the top clubs signing Rice.

Yes our bench is weak but I don't believe we need volume.

Middle of the park is where we are lacking real quality depth and a flexible forward.

Two smart signings could really changed the squad.

Bruno can play as a 6 and 8 same as Rice.

Longstaff is an 8

J7 and Wilock are 8's that seem to take turns throughout the match to rotate out on the left in the front 3.

Transfer fees are no problem for Newcastle there's ways around this.

It's wages that we are struggling with until the revenue starts to increase which should start to happen from next season. we also need to start cuting the deadwood.

Deals seem to be getting signed all the time. Noon, Monster and with Adidas spotted in the crowd at the QF this should start to rack up.

We have started to compete with top clubs across Europe for top young talent. Out of 3 so far we have secured 1. Lost out on Santos to Chelsea and looks like we lost out on that Spanish RB to Arsenal.

If we lose out on players then fine I'm happy at least we are trying

He's got two less goals than Andy Carroll in the PL this season lad

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha
Yes mate. Less goals and less assists in more starts, more games and more total minutes in the league.

Nunes has scored more goals this season then Gordon has in his top flight career.

What a stupid post.

He plays for Everton.

You purchased an 80million goalscorer that can't find the back the net on a regular basis in a competitive division for a team that creates big chances.

Jog on.

Again 64 million forward who's scored more goals this season then Gordon has in his career?

Gordon isn't very good. He doesnt score goals, he doesn't create goals. His highlights are him diving lol.
