doubt we are after him. If any it will be a new number one or a very promising young one. It been horrible watch Dubs flap at corners and crosses and diving to his right :/

On a serious note we slate footballers for being thick and only caring about themselves, but Antony Gordon does come across as a very decent person, less than 24 hrs between the 2

Seen that last night and must have got something in my eye. I know the club does a lot of promo and work around youth clubs, kids with disabilities and hospitals but that was brilliant.
As soon as he found out him and his wife jumped into his car and drove down.

Hes matured so much since he's been at the toon unreal can't wait to see him develop
I think 3 or 4 of them have been to NUCASTLE playing indoor football with school kids/disabled groups.
Guamares, I think Tonali and 1 or 2 others. I believe the club give them some of the funding though so that's probably why
It used to be a local youth centre, not seen any locals near it since it changed, looking at their website they have tons of free stuff for kids , even gaming groups.

It looks almost like the North road in Newcastle but I was thinking thats kinda the wrong way and there's no railings

No doubt, but wasn’t stupid enough to get caught when moving to Newcastle.
I'm not sure getting caught or not changes anything. It's not as if Brighton wouldn't have known he'd have been speaking to Newcastle before they were approached - it's what happens with all deals. The only difference is you reached a deal with Brighton to make things run smoothly. Sooner or later you'll do a deal with Utd.
I'm not 100% sure we did much in that regard - the club were taken over in December and given permission to speak to Ashworth in December by Brighton - according to sky sports back in Feb 2022 (when Ashworth resigned).
We certainly didn't use a member of staff on Gardening leave from another club to contact him
I'd bet my left testicle that you would have - tapping up Ashworth rather than somebody on gardening leave doing it anyway. It happens with all transfers etc. Newcastle aren't going to waste their time approaching Brighton and trying to agree a deal with them without knowing that Ashworth wanted to join them.
Rules around tapping up are the most pointless thing in football. It happens in 99.999% of all deals and barring clumsy things like emailing details to your existing clubs email account, it's impossible to ever prove. Every now and again you'll see a club put on a performance, claiming to be taking a stand against it but it's never more than a show for their supporters. Everybody knew that Ashworth was tapped up. It's widely reported that he's friends with Brailsford and you can guarantee that the first contact he received wasn't any email from Berrada - that was no doubt simply formalising what was already discussed privately before.

2: someone just been caught breaking his non disclosure agreement with two clubs lol
100% this has been leaked by the club and the timing is very suspect!!
I suspect this is to flush Manu oit and back to the table. It was Craig who had information that Newcastle wanted nothing close to 20million for Ashworth but Manu offer was chumps change.
