The Newcastle United Club Thread **No Spoilers**

Pleased to see Gordon has signed his new "long term" deal according to the club. Expect he'll earn back the five bags he put behind the bar in the Strawberry at the weekend pretty quickly, the time he spent signing and posing for photos probably covered it. :)

It will at least protect us from losing him for below market value but yes he has settled in here and wants to stay
 
I was walking past the stadium last night and the club stores refitting seems to be almost complete.

The upstairs part already has shirts and stuff hanging up at the windows, so it should be ready any day now.

all the builders cabins etc have been gone since a few days

They have already bought 50% of the airport for 1 billion so they are definitely sticking around

I was wondering if they'd build there own terminal haha that be great for us

The guy was fantastic didn't think we missed him that much till I saw him play and him back next to schaar tino and hall we have a solid back 4

Unfortunately I couldn't say the same about almiron he looks even worse than before man needs to leave and play football week in week out for his own sake

Agreed, a couple of years ago when he was playing regularly on the right wing ahead of Trippier they worked really well together, but althoguh full of energy still he didn't really shine.

It's like the saying you can't polish a turd

Eddie Howes best attribute is improving players and almiron is one he cannot after his best season 2 years ago
