**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

No. If you're going to avoid any 320** driver it's this one. As this is the first one that reportedly can cause physical damage (for whatever the reason may be)

I doubt we'll ever find out why.

Don't think its ever been narrowed down. No ones been able to kill a GPU with just the drivers alone - seems to be a cocktail of those drivers, EVGA precision and a certain version of a piece of bitcoin malware but even then no ones been able to reproduce it consistently.

Well it must have been the biggest coincidence ever that My GTX670 Windforce packed up 1 hour after installing the drivers...

What other software have you got installed? not saying the drivers are blameless but it seems to be more complicated than simply the drivers themselves.

I'm sure it is. And I'm sure the majority of people won't have a problem. Nothing uncommon here, word, excel, Adobe lightroom, Steam. Nothing which taxes the GPU apart from games.

As i said before i am brand new to Nvidia and with my 770 i installed the 320.49 drivers and and the system has been amazing but then i downloaded EVGA Precision X then i had three system lock up and one blue screen????
Removed Precision X and all seems ok so far.
