**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

Sad to see that the latest drivers still have the Pascal 144Hz idle desktop clock speed bug - my 1070 is still idling at almost 1Ghz.

Hope this is fixed soon!

Can anyone answer me this, i have like 60 games installed since building new pc last year, i have been using same graphics drivers, so there almost a year old, if i update to the very latest nvidia drivers, do i then have to redo all my games graphics settings in each game ? and in nvidia control panel will i also have to redo all that stuff, or is that saved ?, oh, im using a gtx780ti. Thx

Wish nvidia would update their control panel, having to wait for around 10 seconds for anything you click to work when you first open it makes it look archaic compared to the new amd panel.

No, and no, if you don't select "do a clean install".

Thx for reply, do most people not chouse clean install anymore, i know years ago it was a right hassle updating drivers, like in safe mode etc, and driver cleaners and all that, only wanting to upgrade because of the new vulcan thing for Doom etc

One bug I've noticed on my system anyway, is after installing new drivers the win 10 start button is laggy or doesn't respond at all. I have to restart via right click menu.
